In the "newer" Star Wars VI (ROTJ) it shows the "young" Anakin at the end (Christiansen) but

The credits/cast still list the old man actor as Anakin S. I guess H.C. (the young actor) was uncredited or something?

In the "newer" Star Wars VI (ROTJ) it shows the "young" Anakin at the end (Christiansen) but
Easy....the body is still of the original actor....H.C. was nothing more then a special effect put in over his face. Can't be credited.....
Reply:This is the one change that Lucas made in the DVD versions of the OT that sparked a monster debate among fans that really hasn't cooled off yet. The reason Lucas has given for making this change just doesn't wash with most fans. It's really arrogant of us fans to tell Lucas that a part of his story is wrong but so be it because his thinking is wrong ... try telling him that though ... lol ...

The reason Lucas gave was that your "Force Ghost" took on the form you had when you died and that Anakin Skywalker died when he turned to the dark side. Personally it doesn't wash with me just like it didn't with about 90% of the fans. At the end of ROTJ Anakin Skywalker finally wins the battle of wills that had raged inside his soul since he turned to the dark side and became Darth Vader. Darth Vader was destroyed and Anakin Skywalker returned to the "light side" of the Force. Therefore, Anakin Skywalker died in his son's arms on Death Star 2 and his "Force Ghost" should have been that of Shaw, the actor who played it in 1983.

I think that deep down Lucas knows he made a mistake here but he is to proud, pigheaded and stubborn to admit it.
Reply:i noticed the same thing...i wonder when they'll change it...or if they'll change it...
Reply:I think George Lucas knew in his heart that it was a silly change (putting HC in the movie) and therefore they never changed the credits.

Anakin's character didn't become good until the end of ROTJ so therefore the original actor should have remained. It doesn't make sense that the young Anakin (HC) appears because he had turned to the Dark Side at time in his life.

Semi-permanent hair dye - damge hair???

I am seriously considering putting a semi-permanent dye in my dark brown hair. I want it a little bit darker, but my principle aim is to make it more glossy and rich. My ideal colour would be very very dark brown, almost black. I would love something like this:

http://www.studentsoftheworld.info/sites...

or

http://imagecache2.allposters.com/images...

My main concern though is that it will cause hair damage. I really want to keep my hair healthy. Will it cause split ends, dry hair, etc?

Also, can anybody recccomend a good brand? Has anybody tried L'Oreal Casting Creme Gloss in Iced c=Chocolate or L'oreal Casting Colourant in Jamaica?

Help much appreciated! Thank you!

Semi-permanent hair dye - damge hair???
I would try something like natural instincts .It is a semi permanent wash in dye and I have never had problems with hair damage from this brand the semi permanents are great if you would just like to enhance your natural shade as it sounds like you would like to do or slightly change it. I'm sorry I can't give you an exact shade for the natural instincts brand but when you go shopping you can find them in many different shades Im sure one would be what you are looking for.

Which of the following would cause a dog to lose all muscle tone in a skeletal muscle?

A) Cutting or destroying the nerve that normally stimulates the muscle.

B) Sleep

C) Immobilizing the joint in a cast.

D) Anesthesia

Which of the following would cause a dog to lose all muscle tone in a skeletal muscle?
A only, immobilizing the joint in a cast after an injury might cause the muscle to atrophy (get smaller) but muscle tone would still be present. This is because all of your muscles are slightly active all of the time (except when youre in deep sleep), even when you are not moving. Motor neurons are stimulating some of the motor units (groups of muscle fibres) to contract slowly all the time, this keeps our muscles firm and healthy.
Reply:A) and C)

A) - I know humans who are paralyzed loose muscle tissue from inactivity, would imagine it's same theory in animals.

C) - If you can't move your muscles waste away. If a cast was on too long I could imagine that being a possible side effect.

A few questions on Ancient Rome...?

How did trade affect the political/social life of Rome?

Who were the members of the First Triumvirate formed in 60 B.C.?

Why did Caesar say, The die is cast?

What "reforming" emperor divided the empire into two parts in order to make it easier to govern?

Not all must be answered, but all help is appreciated.

A few questions on Ancient Rome...?
Question 1

Trade was vital to Ancient Rome. The empire cost a vast sum of money to run and trade brought in much of that money. The population of the city of Rome was one million and such a vast population required all manner of things brought back via trade.

The Roman Empire was criss-crossed with trade routes. There were sea routes that covered the Mediterranean and Black Seas and numerous land routes using the roads built by the Romans. Trade and moving the Roman Army around were the two principle reasons for building roads.

The most important port was Ostia as it was the nearest major port to Rome itself. Ostia was situated at the mouth of the River Tiber and was only 15 miles from Rome. Many ships travelled between Ostia and the major North African city of Carthage, a journey that took between three and five days. Ships also arrived from Spain and France at Ostia. All their goods could be quickly moved to Rome itself as they were taken in barges to the city up the River Tiber after slaves had transferred the products from the merchant ships to the barges. Ironically, Ostia was to play a major part in the downfall of Rome when Alaric the Goth captured Ostia in AD 409 knowing that this would starve Rome of much needed food.

The Romans did what they could to make sea journeys safe - lighthouses were built as were safe harbours and docks. The Roman Navy did what it could to make the Mediterranean Sea safe from pirates.

The Romans made trade as easy as possible. There was only one currency used and there were no complicating customs dues. Trade was also encouraged by many years of peace within the Empire. Trade was vital to the success of the Empire. When the Empire collapsed, trade throughout the lands that had once made up the Roman Empire, also collapsed. The Mediterranean Sea became a dangerous place for merchants as there were no powers to control the activities of pirates who marauded as far north as the English Channel.

What was acquired from where?

The Romans imported a whole variety of materials: beef, corn, glassware, iron, lead, leather, marble, olive oil, perfumes, purple dye, silk, silver, spices, timber, tin and wine. The main trading partners were in Spain, France, the Middle East and North Africa.

Britain exported lead, woollen products and tin. In return, it imported from Rome wine, olive oil, pottery and papyrus. British traders relied on the Romans to provide security within the Empire. When this collapsed and Europe was seemingly overrun by Barbarians, no one could guarantee traders that their produce would get through. Also, without the power of Rome, who would be willing to buy what was produced in Britain and other parts of Europe?

Ancient Roman Slave Trade.

Slaves had always been used in Rome, but there was a sharp increase in their numbers after the 2nd century BC. Slaves could be obtained as prisoners of war or through trade outside of Roman territory. Parents also had the right to sell their children as slaves to pay off debts.

Homebred slaves eventually outnumbered those who had been free before and were enslaved. Therefore, slaves became expensive and unprofitable to use in unskilled labor, and he was eventually replaced by free labor in mines and other industry. Indeed, slaves were employed in almost every form of skilled and unskilled labor, and performed the "overwhelming" amount of work on mining, manufacture, and private labor. The state owned slaves too, for the purpose of maintaining public works such as roads and aqueducts, but was limited by the practice of contracting out public enterprises.

The agricultural labor force was far more complex, with farming estates worked wholly by slaves as well as those owned by peasants or leased out to tenants.

A large number of slaves, however, worked as doctors, architects, and teachers, amassing large fortunes.

Slaves became free men (liberati) if their emancipation was granted by their master or if they could raise up enough money to buy their freedom themselves. Formal freeing also granted a Roman citizenship and took place before a magistrate. Clients were freedmen owing legally binding services to a patron, and freedmen became clients automatically. Freedmen were not eligible for office, but their children - also citizens - were.

The more informal act of manumission did not grant citizenship, and the former slaves property returned to the owner after death. Manumission was relatively frequent, so efficient labor was practiced to gain freedom.

Most slave revolts occurred during the republic, and three great ones, in particular, towards the end: two in Sicily (135-132 BC) and that of Sparticus (73-71 BC). During imperial times slaves were apparently not apt to violent acts against owners or rebellion.

For all of the glory and grandeur of Ancient Rome, the Roman economy never developed into anything terribly complex compared to modern economies. Ancient Rome was an agrarian and slave based economy whose main concern was feeding the vast number of citizens and legionaries who populated the Mediterranean region. Agriculture and trade dominated Roman economic fortunes, only supplemented by small scale industrial production

The staple crops of Roman farmers in Italy were various grains, olives, and grapes. Olive oil and wine, outside of direct food stuffs, were among the most important products in the ancient civilized world and led Italy's exports. Romans did use a limited form of 2 tier crop rotation, but crop production was largely low output and required a vast number of slaves to operate at any volume.

Farmers could donate surplus crops to the government in lieu of a monetary tax. This system allowed both Republican and Imperial rulers to gain popularity with the masses through free grain distribution and also help to feed the legions at no direct monetary cost. Unfortunately it also left farmers with little incentive to increase productivity or output, since more crop translated to more taxes (and more free grain distributions). Citizens grew dependent on these grain doles and the large volume of trade that ensued. The need to secure grain providing provinces was one important, of many factors that would lead to the expansion and conquests of the Roman State.

Among these conquests were the provinces of Egypt, Sicily and Tunisia in North Africa. These areas were of vital importance in the processing and shipment of grain to Rome. Grain was shipped directly to Ostia, the official port of Rome, and penalties for disruption of the most direct route included deportation or execution. Once delivered to Ostia the grain was weighed, checked for quality, and then sent up the Tiber River on barges to Rome, where it would be repacked for distribution throughout the Empire.

While the production and transportation of foods dominated the trading industry, there was also a vast exchange of other goods from all parts of Europe, Asia, and Africa. The prosperity of the Empire and many of it citizens generated a need for luxurious and exotic imports. Silks from China and the Far East, cotton and spices from India, Ivory and wild animals from Africa, vast amounts of mined metals from Spain and Britain, fossilized amber gems from Germany and slaves from all over the world discovered that all roads did indeed "lead to Rome."

The importance of industry and manufacturing was comparatively light to that of agriculture. The growth and influence of the Empire can not be underestimated, however. The largest industry in ancient Rome was mining, which provided the stones for the enormous building projects and metals for tools and the weapons that conquered the western world. Greece and northern Italy provided marble for the buildings that awed the ancients and modern people alike. Large quantities of gold and silver were mined in Spain to mint coins and create jewelry, while mines in Britain produced iron, lead and tin for weapons. Cities and towns throughout the empire established small-scale manufacturing plants which turned out hand-made pottery, glassware, weapons, tools, jewelry and textiles.

Extensive Trade routes were established on land and sea. The Roman roads are one lasting legacy of Roman domination and many are still in use today. While a benefit of a large network of roads was the transport of goods, their most significant purpose was the fast mobilization of the Legions.

Following in the wake of marching soldiers, vast numbers of goods were carried along these roads. Transporting goods by land was slow and expensive, however, as large loads in wagons and carriages were pulled by lumbering oxen. Large, slow shipments were vulnerable to raids and adverse weather so faster horse drawn loads were used, but they could only deliver lighter cargos. Caravans of camels or donkeys carried loaded baskets called panniers and some goods were hauled by slaves, providing cheap labor. Trade by land was only profitable if goods were going short distances or if the cargo was small, expensive luxury items.

Most large-volume, cumbersome goods, such as food, precious metals, stones and building supplies, were shipped by water. Numerous sea lanes provided cheap and easy access to all parts of the Mediterranean. The consolidation of the Roman navy under Augustus virtually wiped the threat of piracy out, but inclement weather, inaccurate charts and poor navigational equipment could still wreak havoc on a convoy. Still despite the dangers, there was no better way to move cargo than by ship.

Romans thrived off of its imports, and importers were among the wealthiest citizens of the Empire. The trading of goods for goods barter system was alive and well in the ancient world, but the Romans also used one of the world's most developed coinage systems. Coins of brass, bronze, copper, silver and gold in the Imperial system were minted and circulated under strict rules for weights, sizes, value and metal composition. The popularity and value of Roman coins became so great that they could be found as far east as India. Roman coins were greatly detailed and of high artisanship, and often were used as tools by the Emperors to circulate various forms of news and propaganda to the people and the world. In fact, numismatics (the study of ancient coins), is among the greatest sources of historical facts, events and living conditions as it relates to the Romans

Question 2

Caesar was already in Crassus's political debt, but he also made overtures to Pompey, who was unsuccessfully fighting the Senate for ratification of his eastern settlements and farmland for his veterans. Pompey and Crassus had been at odds since they were consuls together in 70 BC, and Caesar knew if he allied himself with one he would lose the support of the other, so he endeavoured to reconcile them. Between the three of them, they had enough money and political influence to control public business. This informal alliance, known as the First Triumvirate (rule of three men), was cemented by the marriage of Pompey to Caesar's daughter Julia.

Question 3

Caesar said 'The die will be cast' as he crossed the Rubicon.

It's what

Julius Caesar said on crossing the river Rubicon to invade Italy in

49 B.C. The "die" is a gambling die, and "cast" means thrown. The

phrase means "An irrevocable decision has been made." (The Latin

words, "Jacta alea est", are given in Suetonius' Divus Julius,

XXXII. Alea denotes the *game* of dice, rather than the physical

die: the dice game is in its thrown state.

Plutarch wrote two accounts in Greek of Caesar's crossing the

Rubicon. Both times, he gives the words as Anerriphtho: kubos =

"Let the die be cast." In one of the accounts (Life of Pompey), he

says that Caesar actually uttered the words in Greek; in the other

(Life of Caesar), he suggests that the words were already a proverb

before Caesar uttered them.

Question 4

By the middle of the third century barbarian invasions from the north were cutting into the Empire. The Emperor Diocletian divided the Empire into two halves, with the Eastern capital in Constantinople. The Eastern Empire prospered while the West crumbled. Rome was sacked by Alaric in 410 AD.
Reply:Who were the members of the First Triumvirate formed in 60 B.C.?

Julius Caesar, Pompey and Macus Licinius Crassus

Why did Caesar say, The die is cast?

He was basically saying he was stepping past the point of no return before he crossed the River Rubicon and entered Italy withhis army in defiance of the Roman Senate and began the long civil war against Pompey and the Optimates.

What "reforming" emperor divided the empire into two parts in order to make it easier to govern?

Emperor Diocletian
Reply:I think the reforming emperor was Constantine.
Reply:The members of the First Triumverate were Caesar, Crassus, and Pompey.

Caesar spoke those words in regards to his rebellion against Pompey, which resulted in civil war.

The "reforming" emperor was Theodosius.

I hope that helped. :)
Reply:!) Trade was a very important resource for Rome. For example, the vast majority of Rome's grain had to be imported from various parts of its empire. If not enough grain reached Roman ports due to famines or piracy, Rome's citizens grew hungry and rioted. The emperors made sure that the grain supply remained uninterrupted. hence, Rome made a mighty effort to rid "Our Sea" (the Adriatic and Mediterranean) of pirates and made sure all coastal ragions was in their control (you need only to look at a map of the Roman Empire to see this.

2) The First Triumverate (60 BCE) : Pompey, Crassus and Julius Caesar

3) When Caesar crossed the Rubicon (the creek that marked the boundary between Italy proper and Gaul, Caesar is reported to have said, "The die is cast" - which means, "There is no going back now." Crossing the Rubicon with his legions meant that Caesar is challenging the Senate militarily - it meant civil war.

4) Emperor Diocletian was responsible for dividing the Roman Empire into two parts. In order to more adequately defend the empire from rebellion and foreign invasions, Diocletian divided the Roman Empire into the West Empire and the East Empire. He then appointed an able general, Maximian, to be his co-ruler with the responsibility of defending the West. Diocletian moved his capital to Nicomedia in Asia Minor to guard and defend the East. Maximian on the other hand move his capital from Rome to Milan.

Hope this helps :)
Reply:Trade? Hard to say. It made Rome cosmopolitan...

The first triumvirate? That would be Julius Caesar, Pompey and Crassus - the three of them had an agreement to take control of Rome via politics at home and military adventures abroad.

"Alea Jacta Est" - Caesar said this when crossing the Rubicon, the river on the northern border of Italy. He was taking up arms against Pompey, his former ally, and trying to become sole dictator of Rome.

I believe it was Diocletian who divided the empire.

What's all this for, anyway?

Who is better, Brady or Manning?

i personally think Brady is a much better quarterback.

A. he doesn't have the supported cast Manning has and he still is a dominant player

B. he is in my mind one of the best playoff quarterbacks of all time(is he like 15 -2) while Manning chokes in the playoffs every year(he didnt win the superbowl, his defense did)

C. three rings to one

so give me your opinion and why which is better

Who is better, Brady or Manning?
I agree with you 100%. Brady is definitly better then Manning, it's proven facts. Brady has 3 or 4 superbowl rings and Manning has one after he finally beat the Patriots in the AFC championship game for the FIRST time.

Also Manning has 2 of the best WR in the game to throw to, who always find ways to get open, he also has Dallas Clark at TE who is a good option aswell. I looked up Manning stats when Wayne or Harrison where injured, and i found a game were they where both injured and Manning threw for a career low 123 yards, 3INTS, 1TD

Without all those weapons, Manning is just useless and can't get anything done because he needs someone at WR to make all his amazing catches. And people always say well Manning is so great he does his own plays and changes them in the huddle....if he is so great why hasn't he won more then 1 SuperBowl in his career?

Tom Brady is easily the better choice, he always managed to get it done even with WR who arn't that great, he has won 3 or 4 superbowls and continously gets in done threw the air even with marginal WR. I remember in the play-offs his WR he was throwing to were Zaruli Smith, Bam Childress, Reche Caldwell and Troy Brown, Troy Brown is old, Caldwell drops everything, and Smith and Childress where called up to the team of the practice squad 2 weeks ago! Brady never gives up and can make plays happen, he is SO clutch an Manning is nothing without weapons at WR

Brady is overall better and people think Manning is so great but he is very overated, and people who say "oh, hes going to the hall of fame" well of course he is, David Carr could go to the hall of fame with WR like Manning has.
Reply:I pretty much agree with you...3 rings to 1, and the far superior playoff record tells me its Tom Brady...Peyton is for fantasy players, but thats it...For the real game, its Tom Brady every time...
Reply:Peyton is Dan Marino, and Brady is Joe Montana. The colts got way to lucky this year. The patriots barely had anytime on offense, and they had a weak offense, besides brady last year. Which is why they won.

Dan Marino is known for choking in the playoffs and losing in his only superbowl, while having one of the greatest arms ever. Manning will be known as the same. He is not good i nthe playoffs, what does one lucky run at the superbowl give you rights to being clutch.

Brady has 3, Manning has 1, I don't think he should have won MVP either, but that's a different story

My top 2 qbs in the league will always be:

1. Brady

2. Manning

Forever.
Reply:You have to put Carson Palmer and Drew Brees into the mix just look at what they did last season after having season ending injuries the prior season, yes they don't have the championships yet! But you must give them credit...
Reply:What's better, a Porsche or a Ferrari?

Honestly, every time this question is asked, it's more a question of who will get het-up more, Pats fans or Colts fans.

Some people NEVER learn...
Reply:Manning.
Reply:It's a moot point - and he who wins is the best.

It's a well known cliche...and from my perspective - a fact - Defense wins Championships, and playoffs, and Superbowls...not quarterbacks or supporting players.

The number of rings a player holds is indicative only of the frequency of attendance.

I know people that went to the Superbowl, never played, and retired once they earned the ring because they were terrible but owned a Superbowl ring.

I think the "supprted cast" argument doesn't factor in too well either. BOTH quarterbacks have excellent players that support them. Offense selld tickets - it doesn't win championships.

manning won the Superbowl; therefore he is this years "better quarterback".
Reply:brady hands down look at his fingers before you look at manning...well you can't compare defense because patriots did and does have a good defense but brady just know know how to control the ball alot better than manning and handle that pressure alot better too!!!
Reply:every day some asks this question and every day everyone from New England says brady and everyone from Indy says Manning, what's the point?
Reply:Manning is a better QB. He reads defenses at the line and audibles the play depending on the defense, can read his receivers routes and see who is the best passing option at that moment and led a team with a mediocre defense to the playoffs every year. Last year, he was MVP of the Superbowl, while his defense didn't have much trouble dealing with the passing offense with Rex Grossman throwing the ball. The year before, it was the defense and the dropped passes by receivers that costs the Colts, not Manning. He also currently owns the single season touchdown record and will break many of Marino's and Elway's records during his stellar career.

Brady is a good QB but the Patriots were led by one of the best defenses the NFL has ever seen. Brady wouldn't have 3 rings right now if it wasn't for the Patriots Pro Bowl defense stopping the offensive juggernauts they faced in the playoffs and Superbowls. Brady will never have close to the stats that Manning puts up every year and will not be close when both of their careers are over.
Reply:Are you nuts? Manning is the superior QB. Brady relies on HIS defense much more. Brady has Pro bowlers all over his team. Manning has quite a good many fewer. Manning won the Superbowl with a horrible rush defense (which turned into a strength in the playoffs) Manning makes all the calls at the line, Brady relies on Belicheck. I'm not saying Brady is bad, but Manning is in another league. Brady is like Joe Montana, Manning is like Dan Marino.
Reply:manning is a truly great quarter back(i was reluctant to say that till he got his ring) brady is a very good quarter back..and to say that the colts have a better supporting cast is like saying george bush is a good president...simply crap!!!!!
Reply:Don't need to explain why you are wrong. I just know it to be true. The facts back up my claim. Statistics back up my claim. Manning WILL end up with at least as many rings as Brady. Brady did not will the SBs....the kicker did.

This is just pure unadulterated fact. You can argue all you want against me...but you are wrong. Sorry.

This is coming from a NON Colt fan.
Reply:Manning easily the better QB.

Kind of contradictory how you can say Brady himself is 15-2 in the playoffs, like he won all those games all by himself, yet you say Manning didn't win the sb his defense did.

You are asking which is the better QB.

Manning statistically is the superior QB every year to every other QB in the league. The sheer numbers he puts up, actually, he HAS to put up to win games because everyone knows the Colts defenses is one of the worst in the league.

If you were asking which was the better TEAM, I may lean toward the Patriots.

Great TEAMS win Super Bowls.

The QB is just one person on the team.
Reply:They are both great quarterbacks, but I'd take Manning.

Speaking of supporting casts... How many clutch wins would Brady have missed out on if Vinatierri didn't make clutch field goals in the snow? How many clutch wins would Manning have, if Mike "VanderCHOKE" could make field goals in a dome?
Reply:TOM BRADY BY FAR

...Manning throws a lot of passes and all are in a dome..big deal. Manning is a choker too, look at his career playoff stats!
Reply:Brady is better. At the end of their careers, Brady will have more wins, more playoff wins for sure, better stats, and more rings. Brady is smarter, cooler under pressure and if the Pats hadn't dumped Deion Branch in the offseason, it would have been Patriots in the superbowl and Manning would have been crying sitting at home.
Reply:If I was on a team and I wanted to win a super bowl real bad I would have to go with experience and that's brady even though manning has one ring you honestly have to admit he had a Shitty super bowl compared to Brady's 3 super bowls.
Reply:The two teams are totally different with New England always having the superior defense. It is much easier to win games when the other team has a difficult time scoring against you. which allows a quarterback more opportunities to get his team in scoring postion. If Manning played for New England he would probably have three rings by now and if Brady played for Indy he might have one.

If I had to chose I woulod take Manning but Brady is a close second. They are both outstanding quarterbacks.
Reply:manning is by far look at the numbers like 7 years throwing 4000+ yds thats a record his completion percentage is better.

he runs the show brady doesnt. and brady only won because of his supportig cast (a good kicker a great d and the refs) he puts up average #s for a qb. the supportig cast your talking about harrison and wayne the patriots could have drafted in stead of terry glenn or richard seymor so its not their fault they fell to the colts. brady will own no records when he retires. manning will own almost all of them.give peyton time is next sb is in the near future. hell probably end up with at least 3

ps the steelers suck and will finish 5-11
Reply:Manning is a better pocket passer. He is the best in the league and a couple years ago he broke Marino's record. Manning has a Super Bowl ring too.

Brady plays better in the clutch, he doesn't second guess himself. Brady is building a dynasty with the Patriots with three rings. He isn't as accurate as Manning is though.

So both players are pretty equal and we might see the same matchup in the AFC Championship Game.

Dose n e 1 else think this this gay?

Ok all this week is my finals in skool. Last week idk if u all knew i broke my wrist %26amp; new i am not in a cast but going 2 go c if i need 1 n Friday. Is anyone else annoyed by the 'beautiful people' on TV all the time?

I find it hard to watch a lot of TV, because casts are so insanely beautiful, that I don't believe situations anymore. It's a joke!

For example look at 'LOST', those people are meant to be stranded on a desert island. They would be malnourished, have peeling skin, greasy hair.....but they look great! How am i meant to believe the scenario as a result. Look at 'The O.C', am I really meant to sympathise when Mischa Barton's character is crying herself to sleep over some minor tragedy. For god's sake you have a body most people would kill for, you live in the most exclusive part of California, and you've got boys fighting over you...Boo hoo!

How am i meant to believe these situations are realistic and reflective of real life, if the cast look like they've come out of a sports illustrated catalogue. I'm not saying their should be ugly people, just average looking people in many roles.

How am i meant to take a teen drama serious when none of the 'teens' have teenage spots. It's crazy!

Is anyone else annoyed by the 'beautiful people' on TV all the time?
yes, because they dont look like that off camera, and it makes people with low self esteem feel they SHOULD look like that,

they dont,

we dont,

ever walked down the street and see ANYONE as good looking as a person from a catalogue? video? movie? tv programme?

nope,

and you never will.

as for the realism question, yeah, i agree,

when they wake up in full make up, and no one ever has tram lines down their faces?!

hair is always just a flick and its once again perfect..

everyone slates reality shows on this site, but at least they are REAL, you see them for how they really ARE

until the show is over, and the magazines get hold of them.

do a comparison, its nuts
Reply:My suggestion to you is: Don't watch tv! because it is always going to be unrealistic because its tv not real life. If you want real life, live yours, instead of watching tv.
Reply:TV is a form of escapism, we don't want to look at normal people on screen, we see those all day in real life.
Reply:i know how you feel, i tell you what tonight go home and instead of watching oc and lost turn over to good old eastenders, then look at ian or pauline,!! that should cheer you up babe, does me!

xx
Reply:The cast looks like they've just stepped out of sports illustrated because they just have.

I'm afraid it's only make believe. most people aren't beautiful, just ordinary.
Reply:Here here - its about time some of these tv people understand that ugly people live in the world too. Even most of the so called ugly people on tv are also good looking.

Get a grip.

Hurley out of lost not losing any weight - bullshit - even he would lose weight after all that time on an island
Reply:You thought Lost would be realistic if the people were ugly???

No one wants to watch ugly people, thats gross, bring on the fitties thats what we want to see
Reply:if you don't like it, then don't watch TV.

that's just how the entertainment business is and probably how it always will be. beautiful people pull in audiences so the entertainment business uses them to attract people's attention.

although i agree with you about the teenage stuff. i hate how they have THIRTY year olds playing 17 year olds.
Reply:yep ,i think they sould do an x factor or pop idol , where there is a skrean in the way of the juges so they pick for talent not looks.
Reply:Yeah, but ugly people don't make good viewing.

Although I agree they could put a few more spotty teenagers in programmes for a more realistic touch or the bad hair day Mum of 4 trying to get her kids to school, screaming and shouting at them, or is that too real??
Reply:I agree....where are all the real people anymore??
Reply:no. try watching coronation street oe emmerdale. some of them look like pugs !!
Reply:That's why I don't watch those shows. I prefer situation-comedy.

I do enjoy reality TV, but I agree that we need to see more average people in movies, tv, and magazines.

Our teens are always feeling inadequate because they are comparing themselves to these fake beautiful people.

Have you ever watched Tyra Bank's talk show? She is sooo real. She has done shows where she removes her bra, where she shows all of the touch-ups they do with her photographs (the before and afters). She also has a teen girls camp, called T-Zone, teaching teenage girls to develop sovereignty and confidence..... ya gotta love her!
Reply:I feel you, but do you really want to watch a show with a cast of people who are on dogtime?
Reply:You LOST ME on this one

Whose going to watch the new beverly hills 90210?

i just want to see how it's going to be. i mean the original was great so they have a lot to live up to. it's a/b two siblings who move from kansas to beverly hills b/c their father gets a job a school principle and there's talk of an original cast member reprising their role on the new show. who do you think it will be. what character would you like to see come back?

Whose going to watch the new beverly hills 90210?
I will probably check it out. But it sounds a lot like when the came out with Saved By the Bell - The new class and they kept Screetch. I think there are some shows that should be left alone.
Reply:Not me. The first one was bad enough.
Reply:I will check it out a few times at least and if I like I will keep watching
Reply:i hope so, i really miss 90210 alot now that was a show!!!!!

My Puppy Broke His Leg?

My puppyy is mixed with Rott, Pit, Chow, and St Bernard. He is 5 months old. Recently he broke his leg and he didnt yelp or anything he just limped. We took him to the vet and they gave him a cast but it didnt work b/c he chewed it off and it was causing him more trouble with it on. They also said that surgery would make his leg worse. He stopped limping after a week and I took him back to the vet for a check up and they said he is ok since his joints were ok and the break wasnt too bad. He is limping again and they said they cant do anything about it. The problem is that he's really hyper and loves to run jump and play and he wont stay off of his leg and I am afraid that he will make the break worse. Is there anything I can give him to make him calm down. He does stay inside and has a cage but he's sill not calming down.

My Puppy Broke His Leg?
You can wrap it with vet wrap..the cheapest is the human wrist tape at Walmart..same stuff..anyway, i always use a few pages of a magazine, or paper towel roll cardboard...put something soft, such as an old sock..cut toe of it out., on first, then the cardboard, then the vet wrap..attach it top and bottom with adhesive tape...and then spray real good with the stuff called Bitter Apple..so he can't stand to chew it...change it every-other day, to let it breath..don't wrap too tight...

I raise a very long legged breed, and rarely get a big litter raised without that happening....they have always healed well, and have gone on to even show just fine.
Reply:Just to let you know- depending on how long ago the break was- putting it in a cast won't do a whole lot. A "callous" starts forming on the bone within a few days of the initial break. If the bone is not set correctly before this starts- it is very hard if not impossible without re-breaking it to get it to heal in the correct position. Usually- after a week- at most 10 days, there just isn't a lot you can do. You definitely want to get the leg immobilized to stop any further damage from occurring. No surgeon will pin or do any type of bone surgery on a puppy unless it is absolutely necessary- the dog is still growing and pinning/ doing surgery will probably cause more problems in the future.

It is normal for a dog to chew at cast- annoying but normal. Look into the Elizabethan collar that others suggested- but these are easy to break and get off if not fitted correctly. You can also spray the cast with bitter apple to keep him from chewing at it. It is not really feasible to keep your dog sedated the entire time he has a cast on- your talking 6-8 weeks. Keep him crated with the collar on and only let him out on leash walks and keep him leashed in the house.
Reply:Take this dog to another vet!!! Any vet will give a dog an elizabethan collar to prevent them chewing stitches, casts or whatever else they might have on them. This puppy's leg can't be left like this!
Reply:You can put collar that looks like a lamp shade on the puppy to keep him from chewing it off. He needs to stay in a small place to help its healing. Talk to him and pet him. Some vets will go in and pin the puppy's leg and put a hard cast on it to help it heal and with the collar they will be fine in about 4 weeks. Good luck.
Reply:exercise keeps a dog calmer. You can't make a dog calm down, that's kinda not fair.

You should have used the cone around the neck so the dog didn't mess w/ his cast. Get a second opinion and use a cone.

Wait too long and it might heal back improperly causing the concern you have now.
Reply:Take him to another vet.

They should have given you some kind of a sedative, or one of those things that goes around his neck that prevents him from chewing on his injuries.
Reply:children's bendryl in very low does
Reply:Great advice from so many, what you should do right away, as so many have said is to GO SEE ANOTHER VET. Yours is crap!
Reply:Have the dog seen by another vet!! Its leg needs to be in a cast. They can put a cone on the dog's head so he cannot chew the cast.
Reply:you should take him to another vet.when my dogs leg was injured i took him too the vet and they gave her some shots and they gave medicine she got better with that.
Reply:Ask to see another vet. It really does need a plaster and fixing or he will suffer with his joints in the winter or damp weather, poor little bugger. Give him some cod liver oil tablets it will help ease his joints, that is when his leg is healed not yet. Bless him
Reply:Eggnog. At least he will get some sleep.
Reply:Hi, that sounds awfully fast for an uncasted leg to heal a break, how long was he in the cast? If it is healed, he may just have overdone it and is feeling pain that comes from not using his muscles for a while if he was in the cast for a few weeks before he chewed it off. If he needs a new cast, why didn't they automatically put an Elizabethan Collar on him...it stands to reason that a dog will chew his cast, especially a puppy, they chew everything! The Elizabethan collar fits around his neck like a collar would, but then it flairs outward with the length ending at the tip of his nose. They can't reach around to chew themselves, but if they put their head straight down, they can eat and drink out of a bowl. I can't understand why your vet didn't use one. You might want to limit his running around for a few days or a week, and use the crate a bit more so he doesn't strain his leg more. If he doesn't stop limping or feels pain when you feel the leg that was broken, you might want to go to a different vet for an exray and see if there ever was a break...it sounds strange to me. Reply:give him warm milk or some chamomile tea to calm him down or just have him lay on your lap and take your to fingers and rub his snout up and down gently it reminds them off there mom and it calms them down

Is it normal to...(in knitting)?

to do start off by regular cast-on and all of a sudden do a 2 knit %26amp; 2 purl? b/c idk my cousin showed me but she didn't tell me every single detail....and also if you can add sources, if it includes books THAT WILL BE GREAT, THANKS IF YOU CAN HELP p.s if there's a specific cast-on for the ribbing aka purl, plz show me

Have a good day and Happy Holidays :)

Is it normal to...(in knitting)?
You just cast on as usual, then do your k2, p2 ribbing. http://www.knittinghelp.com is a wonderful resource for a beginning knitter. It has lots of great, detailed videos. Good Luck!!
Reply:If there is a special cast-on for ribbing, I've never seen it or heard of it. I always cast on as normal, and then start my pattern with my first row. (k1p1 or k2p2 or anything else) Works for me.

There IS a special cast-OFF for ribbing. Maybe that's what you heard about. If you want the end of the ribbed part to be a little stretchier (neck, etc) so you can get it on more easily, cast off in whatever ribbing pattern you were using. If you want it to be less stretchy, knit all your casting-off stitches.
Reply:Any cast on will work for ribbing, but if you want one with some elasticity that won't be sloppy (the backwards wrap around the thumb is easy to learn, but tends to be sloppy looking after the first knit row) then learn either the long tail cast on or knitting on the stitches. Then you can confidently go into your ribbing. When you cast off ribbing, cast off in pattern as well. IOW, if you are doing k2, p2, you will continue to knit and purl as appropriate during the cast off, this adds to the stretch at that end. Just knitting in a ribbed cast off is visible and lacks the same amount of *give*.

One tremendous book for novice knitters which is widely available in the library is the late Elizabeth Zimmerman's "Knitting Without Tears". There are also many on-line tutorials and instructionals for knitting, as well as a number of Yahoo groups on knitting.

Why do so many women grouse about being oppressed by men when it is 'nature' or God? that is to blame?

Getting pregnant, having babies, nursing them, feeding and caring for the babies and her man is b/c of ? nature- God?. It is the natural order of life. What good is it to cast blame on men? They have no more of an idea of this order of nature than women do. After a woman tries to fulfill her role as nature has predetermined, how much does she have left to compete in the 'men's' world? It is amazing that so many women are willing and able to pursue careers outside of the home.

Why do so many women grouse about being oppressed by men when it is 'nature' or God? that is to blame?
¬It is NOT God! If you want to blame religion then the Christian Church is to blame. Women are, by nature, sacred and a peice of the divine as they are life giving. The ancient peoples always worship female dieties untill the Jews and the Christians and the musslims came along. (Goddesses have been worshiped MUCH longer than Gods by the way)

Part of being a woman is being strong and courageous, and making the best out of who you are. when women hit thier 40s they no can NO LONGER produce children. That said what makes you think having babies is their only purpose? After menopause they have no other choice but to become something important in society in a non-baby-making way.

Reply:Because men misconstrued this as weakness and defined women as weak for their natural biology in the foundations of early patriarchal culture. Bummer, huh?
Reply:huh? Did you just arrive on the planet?! geeze!....
Reply:I am glad that you are there to tell us what a woman's role is.

Until you came along, we never would have known.
Reply:The trouble with women (and men to a degree) in a modern society is that there are no predefined roles that simplify their lives.

I find your line "caring for the babies and her man" to be a little antique. Women in modern society are not supposed to care for "their man". It's men that still think they can have the best of the 21st century and the best of the 1950's that get into trouble.
Reply:Be a woman to judge. You made two assumptions in your question: God and Nature.

How do you know there is a god who destined this path for a woman. Secondly how sure are you that oppression by men is a law of nature?
Reply:because that is want we do
Reply:we don't have to have babies you dummy. your probably some stupid redneck who wants to keep women barefoot and pregnant. kiss my big black a-s.
Reply:Because the nature of God also gave man testosterone which means man is more capable of physically hurting a woman, thus more likely.

It is up to each man to respect women and unfortunately not every society requires this.
Reply:I hope you aren't for real...it's 2007 dudie
Reply:Because men are the ones oppressing women. Men keep women from being paid equally. G-d has nothing to do with that. Perhaps men are jealous that they do not posses the ability to give life to new member of the human race.
Reply:getting pregnant, having babies, nursing them and feeding and caring for them is a wonderful thing. The problem isn't the children...it's grown men acting like children.
Reply:having babies... nursing them caring for them and their man... are things we do on account of God... that is not called opression...

however... there are other things that men do that IS opression... none of those things can be blamed on God, as it is a man's OWN decision weather or not to opress women...

opression of women is when Men dont care abt a womans feelings...when they dont care about her pysically state.... and when they dont fulfill their own duty... and push all their work on woman and still get the label of a MAN...... if men were as MANLY as they should be... then women wouldnt complain as much as they do...
Reply:It's not the physical differences that bother me. I accept that biologically I was made with less muscle mass and a different psychological awareness. What grinds my gears is the fact that many men think women are inferior to them, or that they lack the same mental capabilities as men. This thinking persisted well into the 1980's. Men were not barred from voting, holding public office, going to college, or having a career for the first 144 years of this country's existence. I don't need a man support and provide for my family. All I need is your sperm and then you can piss off. I'm perfectly capable of raising well adjusted individuals with out a man's help. I certainly don't need you to bring home the bacon. My mother is a working mom, I never wanted for love, she was very attentive and suportive of me, in fact a bit overbearing. But I am a better person for it. My parents have been married for 37 years. My mom put my dad through college, she waited for him when he went to Vietnam. She is the bread winner of the family (she makes double the salary of my dad, and gets yearly 5 - 10% raises). My dad is perfectly content and is a REAL man. He never treated me like I should be shunned from the world, or that I was somewhat not as capable of taking care of myself as a son would be able to. He is a good father and I feel incredably sorry for any woman you marry and your sons and daughters, they will have a seriously screwed up view of the world.

Back stabbing best friend!!! what do i do?!?

we've been friends since freshman year. last year she pretty much lived with me. we were in band together and we were having the time of our lives. then here comes junior year still and band and now in drama club. and after me and my b/f break up. we fall apart. she told a guy who told me that i am just someone who sits backstage and doesnt act. she's been in drama since grade school but this year she got stage manager and when she found out it was a disaster b/c i was in the cast and she wasn't. but hey no one can always get wat they want right? and the thing is she has never told me any of this to my face. which pisses me off. and now she's sayin that she misses hanging out with me and blah blah. idk i guess i kinda hate her now. i've tried to get closer to her but it doesn't work. she's always busy with school and whatnot. but now i don't know what to do please help!!!!

Back stabbing best friend!!! what do i do?!?
Well whenever you have time, make sure you make it clear to her why it is you two haven't been close and the problems between you two, just be honest with her and if she can't handle it and lies then maybe (and sadly) she isn't as much of a person as you thought. And if you guys are actually able to talk things out then your friendship will stand a chance...
Reply:Sounds like you've been through a bit of a rough patch! My suggestion is maybe to just leave her alone for awhile, hang out with different friends, but keep it civil between you both, because trust me when I say, you dont want things to get nasty. Just leave her alone for while, let her think things over and evaluate herself :]

Goodluck, I hope this helps!
Reply:just move on. find more friends. talk to her when u get a chance. like hi. whats up? stuff like that. friends come and go and guess what. later in life they all remember all the good times u all had together. get as many friends as u can. don't hate her just give her some space. and you may just profit from it. there are so many cool people out there. you can learn so much from them and that is the bomb. go for it. step up.............have fun.........
Reply:Well, what can i say ...all friend ships even long ones go through this, its a game between each partie really. but its your choice how the game is played. Its normal when there is friction between friends to have that "hate motion" but maybe the best thing to do is to take a good breather from each other and maybe in the future go back and resolve further issues, you well be suprise it worked for me and now me and my friend are closer than ever.
Reply:Lots of things like that will happen in your lifetime, which is a reason to be very selective in picking your friends. If you have tried to become close again and she still will not respond, it is time to develop another friendship. The manner in which you explain yourself tells me she is the loser.
Reply:my best friend are like tat too!!! u have to move on.. b friends wit them but not too close!!! keep a distance..

Do always only child sacrifice their love for parents?

my son is in love with a catholic girl who is the only child of her parents now when marriage proposal was sent by us her father says many things like 1.they are catholica and he wants his grand children to be catholics2.the girl is only child and their future becomes insecure if she marrys out of cast as their relatives disown them b/c when her parents married it was also intercast marriage

Do always only child sacrifice their love for parents?
This has been the stand of the Roman Catholic church almost forever I think. It is their way of guaranteeing that their coffers will remain full and of controlling their people to do so.

In today's world I believe the couple should make up their minds as to what THEY want and not what the "church" wants. They should be willing to stand up and say to the "church" we will raise our children how we feel is best for them; if this requires excommunication with the "church" so be it.

This advice I give is not just for the children raised in the Roman Catholic traditions but any church that requires their membership to perform in certain ways. I was raised in the church (not Roman Catholic) and now will have little to do with any denomination because they all want you to perform to "their" requirements usually taken from one or two Bible verses taken completely out of context to suit "their" requirements. Believing in God and in Jesus as your personal Savior is very important much more so than any church and their dogma. You do not have to "belong" to a church to be a Christian.

If you would like to know more please email me. I enjoy teaching the true Word, not just the words of a church.
Reply:yes, always childs have to sacrifice,so acc. to my opinion child can take their own decisions for their life, but in concern wid their parents.
Reply:Sounds like Mommy and Daddy may be trying to control everything she does...she needs to grow up and make her own decisions
Reply:What's really important here is what your son's girlfriend thinks. How independent is she from her parents.

Catholics know that when we get married we are going to leave our parent and follow our husband. He is going to be her only priority. She might be the only child but it's time to cut the umbilical cord and let her live her life as she chosen.
Reply:if they r mama and daddy's child then they do

but if they truly love their love then they won't

Do you think that 12 o'clock is to late for a young teen to be out??

I'm in my school's theatre program, and tomorrow is our last performance. After our performance, we have a meeting in the auditorium where we talk about the show, and then we're having a company meeting at one of the cast member's house. Our show starts at 8:00(pm), and by the time everything gets organized after the show is done, and we get to the house, the party will start at 10:30 and will probably end at 12:00. I think I should be able 2 go b/c it's the Company Party, but my mom thinks that 12 o' clock is too late. I could see if it was like a regular like club party, but it's a company party for everyone who was involved. It will be chaperoned by the directors and such ppl. The party is a 27- year old tradition and in those 27 years the police have only been called once, and it was because of the music. What do you think???

Do you think that 12 o'clock is to late for a young teen to be out??
I think its too late, but how old are you?

I think age has something to do with it.

Ash
Reply:I think your mom should let you go as long as you dont do nothing wrong.
Reply:I am a mom of teenage girls. Normally I would say that that is too late, but I think this should be an exception. I think you should let your mom read all of your answers! So, mom call the theater director and have a talk with him and then let your daughter go to this. Blessings to you!
Reply:This is a special occasion and i think it's fine. Tell your mom that you want to be in a long standing tradition and that you think you deserve to go because your growing up.
Reply:I think if your mom is worried so much invite her along as a chaperone! That way she can monitor what you are doing and she wont have to worry about you being out late because she will be there with you. It is kind of late to be out and im not sure why a school would have kids that young out that late but since there are chaperones I wouldnt think there would be a problem with it. Tell your mom that it is very important to you and invite her along! Hope everything goes well for you! Break a leg!
Reply:If you were my kid, I'd let you go. Sounds like you're not going to be out "running around" but at an organized activity with adults. I hope you get to go!
Reply:as long as someone is watching, and someone can pick u up when your done
Reply:yes, i do. i think 11:00 is the curfew. there is too much danger out there in the world to be out too late. hope this helps. good luck.
Reply:I think midnight is a little late, too. Could you compromise with your mom and leave early?
Reply:At first glance I would have said 'yes,' but you have special circumstances here, that your mom should be aware of. Will your mom pick you up, or will everyone be driven home in a schoolbus, etc.? You should have a school official call your mom and explain everything--and, after all, it is on the weekend.
Reply:I agree with TX_KT and with QuestionA. but midnight does seem a little late for a teen to be out. there is a thing called a curfew, and i would think the teachers should know what time it was. Have fun.
Reply:yes.
Reply:I think it's perfectly fine.
Reply:I think it sounds fine but I also think your mom doesn't care about my opinion so you're probably not going.
Reply:It depends on how young the teen is. But maybe your mom would feel better talking to some of the people that would be chaperoning it. Maybe you can even compromise and leave at 11 or 11:30
Reply:My gosh, how young of a teen. In my state the curfew for anyone under 17 is 11 on weekends and 10 on week nights. Some things are understandable. To tell you the truth as a parent, I might let my child go but I would pick them up earlier than 12 and tell them to be glad they got to go at all, having a party that starts so late isn't even a good idea.
Reply:How old are you---%26amp; how old are other cast members?

If you are 15 or less, and others (male) are older, you should leave after a brief hello.

Honey, there are males out there HOPING girls like you are out late.....go home early %26amp; save a lot of grief for a lot of people---including you!
Reply:For me, no. i dont care if i will be going home late or early in the morning. i want to enjoy things as long i co0uld breath. enjoy. fun.party and everything. i just only live once. so cherish every moment with it.
Reply:if there are teacher like people i think it's fine.
Reply:I agree, if there are teachers there, it should be fine. If worse comes to worse, have your mom either talk to the directors to ease her worries, or she can always chaperone. I know, it would suck, but at least you could go!
Reply:Ask your mother or father to be one of the chaperones.
Reply:defentaily you put the hard work into the play u diserve a party
Reply:I think that you should be allowed to go.. i mean theres no harm in going to a company party WITH chaperones..

She should let you go. I know what she means about the 12 0'clock thing. she seems like a nice mother[[she cares]]

What is the relationship between 911 and Saddam?

On September 11th, 2001 4 Flights were hijacked.

World Trade Center.American Airlines Flight 77 which left

Airlines Flight 175 which left Boston's Logan Airport bound for Los

Angeles before being piloted into the South Tower of the World Trade

Center. Why did the mastermind behind the attacks on America of

September 11th, 2001 choose these particular flight numbers? MY

THEORY ABOUT THE CHOICE OF FLIGHT 93 WAS THAT 1993 WAS THE YEAR

IN WHICH SADDAM FIRST TRIED TO ASSASSINATE FORMER PRESIDENT BUSH IN

KUWAIT, IT WAS ALSO THE YEAR IN WHICH SADDAM HUSSEIN FIRST TRIED

TO DESTROY THE WORLD TRADE CENTER. IT TURNED OUT TO BE AN UNLUCKY

NUMBER FOR SADDAM HUSSEIN BECAUSE THE PASSENGERS ON FLIGHT 93 BECAME

HEROES AND STOPPED THE PLANE FROM GOING INTO THE WHITE HOUSE.

people aboard were killed.

(CBS) A high-ranking al Qaeda detainee told investigators the

intended target of United Airlines Flight 93, which crashed into a

Pennsylvania field on Sept. 11, was the White House.

Government sources said Abu Zubaydah, now in U.S. custody, is

believed to be the source of the information. He is being

interrogated by U.S. officials at an undisclosed location.

Investigators have linked Zubaydah directly to hijackers on board

Flight 93.

United Flight 93 took off from Newark, N.J., and crashed in Somerset

County, Pa.. A recorder on the plane and calls made to people on the

ground indicate passengers fought for control with the hijackers

before it went down.

The San Francisco-bound jet had turned toward Washington and U.S.

fighter jets were flying to intercept it when it crashed. All 44

people aboard were killed.

Officials previously had assumed the White House was a likely

target, but said the Capitol and CIA headquarters in McLean, Va.,

near Washington were other possibilities.Abu Zubaydah is believed to

have played a key role in organizing the Sept. 11 attacks, officials

said. As al Qaeda's top operational planner, he ran the Khalden camp

in Afghanistan, where U.S. investigators have learned many of the

Sept. 11 hijackers trained. This suggests Abu Zubaydah may have had

direct contact with the hijackers and chosen them for training.

He also had telephone contacts with at least one Arab student at

U.S. flight schools, according to a July 10, 2001, memo from a

Phoenix FBI agent.

The CIA, FBI and Pakistani authorities captured and wounded Abu

Zubaydah in a raid by in Faisalabad, Pakistan, in March. He is

believed to have masterminded the failed millennium bombing plots in

Los Angeles and Jordan, and has been linked to failed plots on the

U.S. embassies in Paris and Sarajevo.

Abu Zubaydah was also indirectly linked, through a web of

associations with other al Qaeda members in Europe, to lead Sept. 11

hijacker Mohammed Atta and his cell in Hamburg, Germany. Three

members of the Hamburg cell were suicide hijackers; three others are

still at large. Ziad Jarrah, believed to be the pilot-hijacker of

Flight 93, was a member of the Hamburg cell."

The first attack on the World Trade Center on February 26th, 1993.

The February 26th, 1993 attack marked the 11th anniversary to the

day of the declaration by the Reagan-Bush Administration of February

26th, 1982 that Iraq was no longer a state sponsor of terrorism and

as such was eligible for American loans and grants, which it

subsequently got.

The February 26th, 1993 attack also marked the 2nd anniversary to the

day of the liberation of Kuwait by the U.S. in the first Gulf War.

The World Trade Center was attacked by terrorists associated with

Sheik Rahman on February 26th, 1993. It was Sheik Rahman's group

that murdered Egyptian President Anwar Sadat on the 8th anniversary

to the day of the 1973 Yom Kippur War, October 6th.

Sheik Rahman's son was subsequently found with bin Laden's group

in Afghanistan when the U.S. liberated Afghanistan.

7/7 is one way to write the date July 7th

On July 7th, 1994 Yasser Arafat, PLO chairman drove from Egypt into

Gaza, after 27 years in exile. What Arafat was doing was using the

date of July 7th to re-write a perceived wrong he had felt some

years earlier on another July 7th. It was on July 7th 1986 that the

government of Jordan closed the offices of Yasser Arafat's al-Fatah.

Because a bus bombing occurred in London on July 7th, 2005 it struck

me that the nation that has endured more bus bombings than any other

nation is Israel. There may be a connection between the July 7th,

2005 attacks in London and the terrorists who have targeted Israel

with bus bombings for years.

Recently terrorists in Iraq murdered Egypt's envoy to Iraq.

"Zarqawi group reportedly killed Egyptian ambassador in Iraq

Iraq-Egypt, Politics, 7/7/2005

News reports from al-Jazeera and al-Arabia satellite TV stations

said that Egypt's top diplomat in Iraq to Iraq, Eyhab al-Sharif, had

been executed.

Meantime, Al-Qaida organization in Iraq, led by Abu Musab al-

Zarqawi, had threatened in a statement on the Internet to execute

the chairman of the Egyptian diplomatic mission al-Sharif.

The threat to execute Sharif came a short time after al-Qaida

organization in Iraq issued pictures for the identity cards of the

Egyptian diplomat as an evidence that they are the ones which

kidnapped him.

The statement said the legitimate court of al-Qaida organization in

Mesopotamia decided to "send the ambassador of the state of Egypt to

the Mujahideen (indivduals from Egypt and other states that go to

Iraq to fight with the insurgents) to execute the death penalty

against him." The statement considered that "the embassies in

Baghdad are but monitoring sites to snipe the arriving Mujahideen

and preventing them from having access to their brothers in Jihad in

the land of Mesopotamia (Iraq) and in Afghanistan."

In an attempt to prove that the Egyptian ambassador is their

possession, al-Qaida organization published documents including a

driving Sharif's license and a work card for him at the foreign

ministry and another one for health insurance. On Tuesday the

organization claimed responsibility for kidnapping Sharif."

American Airlines Flight 11 which left Boston's Logan Airport bound

for Los Angeles before being piloted into the North Tower of the

World Trade Center.

Saddam Hussein assassinated his first victim when he was 11 years

old. Fixated on the number 11 ever since then he easily focused on

the World Trade Center as a target because it looked so much like a

number 11 that WPIX TV Channel 11 in New York City used the World

Trade Center in its logo for years.

The World Trade Center also housed an office of the Bank of Kuwait.

Saddam used Rahman's group to punish Sadat for failing to defeat

Israel in the attack on Israel of October 6th, 1973. Saddam also

used Sheik Rahman's group to hit the Speaker of the Egyptian

Parliament during the first Gulf War when Egypt sided with America

against Iraq.

subsequently

breaks that toy, set fire to the Kuwaiti oil fields as he was being

years to the day before September 11th 2001 "In the early morning

hours of August 2d,(1990),a powerful Iraqi army invaded Kuwait. The

crisis in the Persian Gulf also offers a rare opportunity to move

toward an historic period of cooperation. Out of these troubled

times, our fifth objective-a new world order-can emerge."

target of United Airlines Flight 93, which crashed into a

Pennsylvania field on Sept. 11, was the White House. Government

sources said Abu Zubaydah, now in U.S. custody, believed to be the

source of the information."

Perhaps the following may explain how Saddam knew where former

President Bush might be spending the night of September 10th-11th

2001:

"Like everyone else in the United States, the group stood transfixed

as the events of September 11 unfolded. Present were former secretary

of defense Frank Carlucci, former secretary of state James Baker III,

and representatives of the bin Laden family. This was not some

underground presidential bunker or Central Intelligence Agency

interrogation room. It was the Ritz-Carlton in Washington, D.C., the

plush setting for the annual investor conference of one of the most

powerful, well-connected, and secretive companies in the world: the

Carlyle Group. And since September 11, this little-known company has

become unexpectedly important. That the Carlyle Group had its

conference on America's darkest day was mere coincidence, but there

is nothing accidental about the cast of characters that this

private-equity powerhouse has assembled in the 14 years since its

founding. Among those associated with Carlyle are former U.S.

President George Bush Sr., former U.K. Prime Minister John Major, and

former President of the Philippines Fidel Ramos. And Carlyle has

counted, Prince Alwaleed bin Talal bin Abdul Aziz Alsaud of Saudi

Arabia, and Osama bin Laden's family among its high-profile

clientele."

"The White House is bordered on three sides by buildings that are as

tall or taller than itself. (OEOB, Treasury, and Blair House.) Beyond

these buildings there are still more buildings, that also are taller

than the White House. The only flight path that is relatively

unobstructed if making a controlled, straight-in approach, is from

the south, over the ellipse. Even the Marine helicopter the president

uses comes in from this direction and lands on the South Lawn. The

problem with flying a plane the size of a 757 or 767 in from this

direction is that there's a 555 ft tall structure in the way called

the Washington Monument. The Capitol, although a bigger target, is

similarly situated. There are buildings on all sides except for the

west side, which faces the Mall. Again, for a controlled, straight-in

approach, a pilot first would need to avoid the Washington Monument,

and then fly straight down the Mall. There is more room to do this,

but again, it would take considerable skill. Moreover, the buildings

in Roslyn, just across the river from and to the west of the Mall,

would have to be cleared, which means the plane's altitude would

probably be too high, or the angle of descent too steep to permit a

successful attack by anyone other than a skilled, experienced pilot."

To indicate September 1990 one might well write or type 9/90

It was in September of 1990 that President George Herbert Walker

Bush spoke to Congress on Iraq. On September 11th, 1990 in fact.

President Saddam Hussein chaired on Sunday the 48th Cabinet session.

The Cabinet discussed recent events of Palestinian Intifadha and

praised Palestinians brave and

persistent struggle for liberating their lands. The cabinet reviewed

the current international

situation, especially the U.S aggression on Afghanistan. The Cabinet

brought back a historic

stance Iraq had taken in 1979 when it condemned the military Soviet

invasion of Afghanistan though Iraq had then deep relations with the

Soviet Union and there was a

friendship and cooperation agreement between Iraq and the Soviet

Union, yet this had not prevented Iraq from taking the national

independent stand rejecting Soviet's behavior. History repeats itself

once again in 2001 as Iraq takes the same stance and condemns the US

aggression on Afghanistan....this confirms Iraq's principled stance

rejecting all forms of foreign intervention and aggressions. The

Cabinet discussed issues listed on its agenda and made necessary

decisions and recommendations."

The shocking news that narco-terrorists in Colombia plotted to

assassinate current President George W. Bush on Monday November

22nd, 2004,

the 41st anniversary of the JFK assassination, needs some

examination.

BCCI, the infamous drug-terror-arms bank that allegedly gave former

President Jimmy Carter $10 million for the Carter Library, had

offices in Peru, where

coca leaves are grown, in Colombia, where the coca leaves are

processed into cocaine, and in Castro's Cuba, and Baathist Syria and

Baathist Iraq. Banks

did not get offices in any of those 3 tyrannies without the approval

of the tyrant.

targeted for assassination by Colombia's biggest Marxist rebel group

this week when he visited the Caribbean port city of Cartagena, a

top Colombian official said on Saturday. "According to informants

and various sources, we had information indicating that various

members of the FARC had been instructed by their leaders to make an

attempt against President Bush," Defense Secretary Jorge Alberto

Uribe told reporters. He would not be drawn out on the details of

the threat. The White House had no immediate comment.

The U.S. Secret Service, which protects the president, said it "does

not comment or release information regarding our protective

threats to our protectees," said Jonathan Cherry, a Secret Service

spokesman.

There was heavy security in Cartagena when Bush visited the city on

Bush's motorcade while naval vessels kept watch offshore. Many shops

"An Afghani tends to a field of heroin poppies, the sale of which

provides much of the financing for the Taliban and Osama bin Laden.

Afghanistan is the world's No. 1 producer and distributor of heroin,

and illicit drug trafficking is the biggest funding source for

By Rachel Ehrenfeld / Special to The Detroit News About the author

Rachel Ehrenfeld is director of the New York-based Center for the

Study of Corruption and the author of "Evil Money" (HarperBusiness)

and "Narco-Terrorism" (Basic Books).

Moving the money...

In the welter of events following the bombing of the World Trade

Center in Feb. 26, 1993, few noticed that the first man arrested,

Mohammed Salameh—the poor, unemployed illegal immigrant—

offered $5 million for bail. Where could he get this kind of money?

The judge refused bail. But was the source of Salameh's offer the

same as the one that funded the eight men—arrested shortly

afterward—who planned to blow up Manhattan's tunnels and bridges

and to assassinate public officials?

Were the same money sources behind the final attack on the World

Trade Center on Sept. 11?

... For a long time, there has been evidence that terrorist,

international drug trafficking and criminal organizations use the

same fund-raising methods to enrich themselves.

Yet no one seemed to connect the dots. And no one seriously tried to

crack down on their financing.

Bin Laden's is only one among many hostile international criminal

organizations, often state-sponsored, that will do whatever they can

to diminish the status of the United States as the only superpower.

According to a State Department report, the Taliban, who are at bin

Laden's service, has the advantage of controlling the world's

largest heroin production and distribution in the world.

Since the Taliban took over Afghanistan, the heroin production

soared to hundreds of tons each year. In 1999 alone, the world

production of heroin was estimated at 500 metric tons; 400 were

produced by the Taliban and available to fund bin Laden and his

associates worldwide. First warning

The writing was on the wall on July 5, 1991, when the Bank of

England shut down what was the most important Islamic bank in the

world, the Bank of Credit and Commerce International (BCCI). This

criminal entity was created by the Pakistani Aaga Hassan Abedi "to

fight the evil influence of the West"; to help with the creation of

the "Islamic Bomb"; to finance all Muslim terrorist organizations;

and to launder the money that was generated mostly by illicit drug

trafficking and other illegal activities, including arms

trafficking.

When BCCI went belly up, we learned from thousands of documents that

Abu Nidal—the notorious Palestinian terrorist organization that

now enjoys the hospitality of Iraq's Saddam Hussein, the Palestine

Liberation Organization (PLO), Hezbollah and bin Laden—had

accounts in the bank. By the end of the 1980s, the "special

services" provided by BCCI included access to Western humanitarian

and international development funds, as well as drug money

laundering, secret transfers of cash and bribes.

A "Black Network," a special enforcement unit supported by Abu Nidal

and other terrorist organizations, operated from Pakistan. The same

Pakistan that harbored bin Laden for many years while its officials

told the United States that they didn't know his whereabouts. And

the same Pakistan that for decades, even according to the State

Department's annual report, had been a major drug trafficking and

money laundering center.

Western blindness

Yet, now more importantly, we also discovered that the American and

British governments knew and kept the bank open for a long time. The

bank "that would bribe God" was able to get away with its criminal

activities for decades due to Abedi's clever portrayal of the Muslim

nations as victims of Western—and particularly U.S.—

"imperialism." And when the bank was shuttered, the accusation in

the Muslim/Arab and Third World countries was that the U.S. and the

United Kingdom governments closed the bank to curtail the growing

fiscal power of Muslim countries.

Like Abedi, anti-American, anti-Western terrorist and radical Muslim

states and organizations, such as the Taliban, Al Qaeda, Hamas,

Hezbollah, the PLO, Iraq and Iran, use Western democratic rhetoric

to their advantage. But it is the willful blindness, mainly toward

the growing volume of drug money laundering, exercised by Western

bankers on the one hand and Western politicians on the other, that

makes money laundering possible, despite the many laws and

international conventions to control this phenomenon.

The BCCI was the first warning to the West. The second warning about

the abuse of European and American financial markets by terrorist

organizations, as well as their involvement in the illicit arms and

drug trade, was made in February 1994 by the British National

Criminal Intelligence Service (NCIS).

The Organized Crime Unit of the NCIS warned that Middle East

terrorist groups and states were targeting the financial centers of

London, Frankfurt and other Western countries, and that they favor

illegal drug trafficking, money laundering and fraud....

Clinton appeasement

Despite its stated policy of not negotiating with terrorists, the

Clinton administration went out of its way to appease a few of the

20th century's most notorious terror groups: the Revolutionary Armed

Forces of Colombia (FARC), the PLO and the Irish Republican Army.

All are heavily involved in the drug trade.

On the eve of the 1993 handshake on the White House lawn between

Israeli Prime Minister Yitzak Rabin and PLO Chairman Yasser Arafat,

Britain's National Criminal Intelligence Service estimated the PLO's

ill-gotten gains to total between $8 billion to $10 billion, with an

annual income of about $1.5 billion to $2 billion from "donations,

extortion, payoffs, illegal arms dealing, drug trafficking, money

laundering, fraud, etc."

Since then, Washington has only aided and abetted the PLO. Since the

start of the Oslo process, Arafat has received at least $3 billion

more from the United States and the international community, without

any serious demand for accountability, according to a report this

year to Congress. Arafat, in well-documented instances, has been

systematically skimming off portions of these funds, as he has with

monies given to him on behalf of the refugees in the camps.

The PLO was in the drug trafficking business almost from the

beginning. Operating from Lebanon, under Habash's able leadership

and assisted by a PLO-owned shipping company SUMUD, the organization

exported hashish, opium, heroin and cocaine, first to Europe and

later even to the United States and Australia. In return, it

obtained weapons for their war against Israel and the West, and

amassed a massive treasure trove. In addition, the PLO and Arafat,

who enjoy the financial and strategic support of Hussein and bin

Laden, have the distinction of being the organization that

promoted "suicide bombers" as a weapon.

Yet the Clinton administration subsidized a multitude of radical

Palestinian groups, ranging from Arafat's Fatah branch of the PLO

and its military wing, the Tanzim, to the socialist-nationalist

Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), headed by

George Habash, all with close ties to bin Laden, Iraq and Iran.

...It was the Clinton White House that, despite evidence to the

contrary, removed Syria from its list of the drug trafficking

countries, to entice Syria to join the "peace process" in the Middle

East.

The failure of that process and the compromises the United States

has made to maintain an illusion of peaceful prospects had no doubt

added to the Muslim radical terrorists' resolve to attack what they

see as a naive and vulnerable America.

In another example of self-delusion, in 1999, then Secretary of

State Madeleine Albright suggested a U.S.-led coalition to negotiate

with the FARC and supported Colombia President Pastrana's "land for

peace" initiative, despite a report from the General Accounting

Office that the FARC is running a major international criminal

enterprise that, among other things, supplies hundreds of tons of

cocaine and heroin to the U.S. black market.

This second Clinton "land for peace" initiative gave half of

Colombia to the narco-terrorist FARC, while doing nothing to

diminish its violence or appetite to control the rest of the

country...."

"The White House is bordered on three sides by buildings that are as

tall or taller than itself. (OEOB, Treasury, and Blair House.) Beyond

these buildings there are still more buildings, that also are taller

than the White House. The only flight path that is relatively

unobstructed if making a controlled, straight-in approach, is from

the

south, over the ellipse.

Second Attempt to Assassinate President Bush.

We all know that Saddam Hussein attempted to assassinate former

along with the current President Bush's brothers, his parents, and

former Secretary of State Baker were actually in the air enroute to

Then President Clinton later bombed an empty Iraqi intelligence

We believe that the Second Attempt to assassinate former President

henchman Osama bin Laden on September 11th, 2001.

to Laurie Mylorie - Iraq Watch] The American cowboy is reaping the

fruits of his crimes against humanity. It is a black day in the

history of America, which is tasting the bitter defeat of its crimes

and disregard for peoples' will to lead a free, decent life. The

massive explosions in the centers of power in America, notably the

Pentagon, is a painful slap in the face of US politicians to stop

their illegitimate hegemony and attempts to impose custodianship on

peoples. It was no coincidence that the World Trade Center was

destroyed in suicidal operations involving two planes that have

broken

through all US security barriers to carry the operation of the

century

and to express rejection of the reckless US policy. Panic has spread

among US official circles, which evacuated the White House following

a

series of explosions. They also evacuated the Pentagon, the State

Department, and Congress and closed down the airports and government

institutions. The collapse of US centers of power is a collapse of

the

US policy, which deviates from human values and stands by world

Zionism at all international forums to continue to slaughter the

Palestinian Arab people and implement US plans to dominate the world

under the cover of what is called the new [world] order. These are

the

fruits of the new US order. [Video of explosion rocking World Trade

"BLITZER: That's Osama bin Laden's group. Now you also have some

new information, David, about Mohamed Atta. He's the suspected

ringleader of the September 11th hijackings.

ENSOR: Well, that's right. As you know, he was one of the suicide

hijackers who died on September 11th on one of those aircraft. And we

had previously reported on September 19th that he met with an Iraqi

intelligence official somewhere in Europe. Well, I'm now able to tell

you, based on information from U.S. sources, he met not once but

twice with Iraqi intelligence officers in Prague in the Czech

Republic:

once last year in June of 2000 and once in April of 2001."

"White House Was Flight 93 Target

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2002/05/2...

A high-ranking al Qaeda detainee told investigators the intended

target of United Airlines Flight 93, which crashed into a

Pennsylvania field on Sept. 11, was the White House. Government

sources said Abu Zubaydah, now in U.S. custody, believed to be the

source of the information." "Moussaoui Says He Was to Hijack 5th

Plane

By MATTHEW BARAKAT, Associated Press Writer (Monday March 27, 2006)

Al-Qaida conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui testified Monday that he and

would-be shoe bomber Richard Reid were supposed to hijack a fifth

airplane on Sept. 11, 2001, and fly it into the White House.

Moussaoui's testimony on his own behalf stunned the courtroom. His

account was in stark contrast to his previous statements in which he

said the White House attack was to come later if the United States

refused to release a radical Egyptian sheik imprisoned on earlier

terrorist convictions.

On Dec. 22, 2001, Reid was subdued by passengers when he attempted

to detonate a bomb in his shoe aboard American Airlines Flight 63

from Paris to Miami. There were 197 people on board. The plane was

diverted to Boston, where it landed safely.

Moussaoui told the court he knew the World Trade Center attack was

coming and that he lied to investigators when arrested in August

2001 because he wanted it to happen.

"You lied because you wanted to conceal that you were a member of al-

Qaida?" prosecutor Rob Spencer asked.

"That's correct," Moussaoui said.

Spencer: "You lied so the plan could go forward?"

Moussaoui: "That's correct."

The exchange was key to the government's case that the attacks might

have been averted if Moussaoui had been more cooperative following

his arrest.

Moussaoui told the court he knew the attacks were coming some time

after August 2001 and bought a radio so he could hear them unfold.

Specifically, he said he knew the World Trade Center was going to be

attacked, but asserted he was not part of that plot and didn't know

the details.

Nineteen men pulled off the Sept. 11 attacks on New York in

Washington in the worst act of terrorism ever on U.S. soil.

"I had knowledge that the Twin Towers would be hit," Moussaoui

said. "I didn't know the details of this."

Asked by his lawyer why he signed his guilty plea in April as "the

20th hijacker," Moussaoui replied: "Because everybody used to refer

to me as the 20th hijacker and it was a bit of fun."

Before Moussaoui took the stand, his lawyers made a last attempt to

stop him from testifying, but failed. Defense attorney Gerald Zerkin

argued that his client would not be a competent witness because he

has contempt for the court, only recognizes Islamic law and

therefore "the affirmation he undertakes would be meaningless."

Moussaoui at first denied he was to have been a fifth hijack pilot

Sept. 11 but under cross examination spoke of the plan that would

have him attack the White House. He said Reid was the only person he

knew for sure would have been on that mission, but others were

discussed.

The 19 terrorists on Sept. 11 hijacked and crashed four airliners,

killing nearly 3,000 people in the World Trade Center, the Pentagon

and on the planes. The intended target of the plane that crashed

into a Pennsylvania field remains unknown.

Moussaoui said he talked with an al-Qaida official in 1999 about why

a 1993 bombing at the World Trade Center failed to bring the towers

down. He said "was asked in the same period for the first time if I

want to be a suicide pilot and I declined."

Just before Moussaoui took the stand, the court heard testimony that

two months before the attacks that a CIA deputy chief waited in vain

for permission to tell the FBI about a "very high interest" al-Qaida

operative who became one of the hijackers.

The official, a senior figure in the CIA's Osama bin Laden unit,

said he sought authorization on July 13, 2001, to send information

to the FBI but got no response for 10 days, then asked again.

As it turned out, the information on Khalid al-Mihdhar did not reach

the FBI until late August. At the time, CIA officers needed

permission from a special unit before passing certain intelligence

on to the FBI.

The official was identified only as John. His written testimony was

read into the record.

"John's" testimony was part of the defense's case that federal

authorities missed multiple opportunities to catch hijackers and

perhaps thwart the 9/11 plot.

His testimony included an e-mail sent by FBI supervisor Michael

Maltbie discussing Moussaoui but playing down his terrorist

connections. Maltbie's e-mail said "there's no indication that

(Moussaoui) had plans for any nefarious activity."

He sent that e-mail to the CIA even after receiving a lengthy memo

from the FBI agent who arrested Moussaoui and suspected him of being

a terrorist with plans to hijack aircraft.

Prosecutors argue that Moussaoui, a French citizen, thwarted a prime

opportunity to track down the 9/11 hijackers and possibly unravel

the plot when he was arrested in August 2001 on immigration

violations and lied to the FBI about his al-Qaida membership and

plans to hijack a plane.

Had Moussaoui confessed, the FBI could have pursued leads that would

have led them to most of the hijackers, government witnesses have

testified.

To win the death penalty, prosecutors must first prove that

Moussaoui's actions — specifically, his lies — were directly

responsible for at least one death on Sept. 11.

If they fail, Moussaoui would get life in prison.

What is the relationship between 911 and Saddam?
I think Hillery Clinton summarized Saddam's relationship with 9/11 best ..

In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical and biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda members. It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons."

Sen. Hillary Clinton (D, NY), Oct 10, 2002

As a sanctuary and an aid to al qaeda the threat of WMD including nuclear possibilities made him an important target for the well being of the US and the world. Afghanistan alone is not a threat , it did not have the capabilities of Iraq which is why both areas became targets..

Terrorism isnt just alqueda.

Saddam needed to be eliminated as he did in fact hide wmd in Syria (recently proven btw). Report It

Reply:Nothing really. Saddam was perceived to be a threat due the possibility that he had weapons of mass destruction. Maybe he did. Todays nuclear weapons can be transported in a tractor trailer and then easily burried in the desert. So we may never know. However, unless you buy the weapons, nuclear weapons require a little more obvious construction processes and these were never known to exist. Iran has this and Iran does knowingly support terrorist. If we let Iran get nuclear weaponry, they will definitely supply terrorist. This cannot be allowed to happen. This is about survival. Saddam was his own terrorist. He probaly would not support terrorist for they are the competition to him.
Reply:Nothing really.

Unless the question is a joke, in which case...

If you call Saddam and 911 at the same time which one would get there quicker? lol.
Reply:Nothing, but he was supporting terrorism.

Reply:NONE .
Reply:None, GW Bush wanted to get Saddam because Saddam threatened to kill G Bush Sr during the first Gulf War.
Reply:nothing, although what he was doing was wrong, saddam was just a divescapegoat for 911.

someone america could blame and take anger for what happened for 911.
Reply:There was none, nor did anybody ever claim that. It is sometimes used as a "straw man" argument.

To be very specific, there was collusion between Sadaam and his regime with various terrorist organizations, including Al Quaeda. However, Sadaam nor his officials were not in on the plot which was Al Queda alone.
Reply:911 took place, Saddam rejoiced over the aftermath, and that is the only relationship between the two.....KECK

Reply:Saddam helped payroll this emergency number in place here in America, which gave rise to a show hosted by William Shatner.

Reason enough to go to war indeed!
