OK here's the scenario-and I want you to give this considerable consideration-I have found that Christians are biased bigoted thick headed ignor-anuses, they have a premis for all they do based on a CHARACTER Flaw called "I AM SAVED", and in general believe that they are going to heaven because they accepted Christ-however-everyone of every religion believes this hypothetical premiss-and what excuse are you going to have when you stand before another entity that says-YOU HAD ALL YOUR LIFE TO REALLY STUDY THE LAWS OF RELIGION-but you chose to stick by the one that gave you your immediate benefit in life on Earth and failed to use Life as an opportunity to educate yourself in any other area of belief-SO YOU ARE CAST OUT-SINNER! and u reply-But OH Dear God-I woulda thought you woulda shown me the way and you can see by my accomplishments in life had I known that I woulda done them ALL 4 U! and as a horney monster comes to take you you yell "But Father 4-Give me 4 I Knew not what I did!"

I hold similar beliefs to you. A lot of people who claim they are religious are really following their faith blindly. They believe what their pastor/priest dictates to them because certain parts of the Bible are quoted. Yet if you read the Bible, every quote from a certain spcripture has an opposite meaning in another one depending on the person who interprets it. It is now found that a lot of the words in the Bible are wrong, and new interpretations are being found,





Religious people (I cant call them Christians) are very judgemental people and will criticise you if you dont share their beliefs. I remember when I was a young girl going to church....the Minister would stand out the front when the service was over and shake hands with all the parishioners. He pullled me aside and said, next time you come to church please wear a dress. I never read anywhere in the Bible where a female had to wear a dress to church. This was this mans opinion...not God's. I never went back. Most religious leaders are the same, they have their ideas and expect their "flock" to believe every thing that is said. That is why there are so many religions, believing different things, yet the Bible is exactly the same.





So many religious marriages break down because the third party... God has the last say. They forget about each others needs and their lives are dictated by the scriptures. FAITH is the term used when a religious leader cannot answer a question, eg, why do babies, who have done nothing end up being abused, bashed, sexually assaulted have to endure that if there is a God. You will be told there are a lot of things we mortals do not understand and only the Father knows, just have faith and all will be revealed.





I asked the pastor of my ex husbands Church to please explain how God the Father, God the Son and God the Holly Ghost can be one person because if that was true, who was Jesus praying to in the Garden of Gethsamie....was he praying to himself? This pastor got quite angry and said, well if you dont believe it then you are not a Christian.





In a real Christian's defence thought, if it makes them happy and at peace then I say everyone to their own. Lets face it, we all strive for peace in our life and if it gives it to these people, then its not wrong. It is only wrong when it is shoved down a non-believers throat. But again, if that person trully believs he/she must spread the word of God to save people, then you can understand why they do it. If I knew my next door neighbour was going to get hit by a truck the next time he walked across the road, then I would have to tell him to try to save his life. If he didnt listen then that would be the end of it, I wouldnt tie him up to stop him crossing the road. That should be the end of a Christian persons attempt at trying to save your soul too.....they should give you the information, but if you dont want to listen, then they need to respect that we do have a free Will.....God gave it to us. Instead most Religious people will judge you and think you are from the devil.





The Catholic Church has far too much power. Religious Leaders who brainwash their flock have too much power. If Jesus is to be believed then Jesus was a humble man. He did not exert his power over peoples minds the way Churches of today do. I think people should use some of the free Will God gave them and start doing a little bit of logical thinking.
