Twilight cast: What do you think of the actors sofar?

I would say, judging on looks, Emmett and Bella are the only dead on good picks. And acting-wise, I know Kristen Bell will be a great Bella. The pick for Victoria isn't too bad, based off looks.


I looked into acting history of all of them and most are 'unknowns' and or have been on many episodes of the O.C. (full of bad actors except for one).


So, needless to say, I am worried. But of course excited for the movie!!


I'm waiting to see who they pick for Jacob Black!!

Okay. I think this whole movie idea is stupid. Movies NEVER beat books. Books always provides more scenes and details. And look. Edward is so "god-like". How on earth are you gonna find an actor to equal up to Edward's looks. I'm not watching the movie. It's gonna ruin everything that I imagined in my head. You can't possibly replace imagination. And the people I imagined in my head are actually attractive.

Robert Pattinson is... okay for Edward. I think he will do a really good job. And since Stephenie thinks he'll do good then so do I.





Cam Gigandet as James.... Well, he's really hot! I pictured him more mean, but he'll be some good eye candy during the movie! Even though he's gonna die! lol





Rachelle Lefevre seems like she's too nice to play Victoria. I have to admit that I'm disappointed with her.





Sarah Clarke is perfect for Renee! I love her!





Billy Burke as Charlie is okay. I think they could have found someone better, but he'll do fine.





Peter Facinelli is perfect for Carlisle!! He is almost exactly like I pictured him!





Elizabeth Reaser is... okay as Esme. Not my favorite, but she'll do okay.





Ashley Greene is perfect for Alice!! She looks just like her!





I'm a little disappointed with Jackson Rathbone as Jasper.





Kellan Lutz as Emmett is PERFECT!!!!!!! =]





Nikki Reed looks to nice to play Rosalie, but she'll do fine as well.





Yeah, I so did not picture Eric as Justin Chon





Michael Welch is awesome for Mike!





Anna Kendrick Is amazing for Jessica!





Christian Serratos as Angela is so so so good!





Where they intoxicated when they chose Edi Gathegi as Laurent??





I really really really hate Sam! Oh my god! That really pissed me off!!!!!!!!!!!! They were high when they chose Solomon Trimble.





Taylor Launter as Jacob Black is very good!!! He's perfect for Twilight Jacob, and by the time New Moon or Eclipse comes out (if it does...) he'll be perfect! =]





Overall, I'm pretty happy with the cast. There's a few people who I don't think fit, but I think they will do good (hopefully!)
Reply:You should see the picture of Danielle Panabaker on the archives of Meyer's Twilight Movie page- she was perfect. And me, being a devoted fan of Jasper(the original Soulja Boy), well he was terribly cast. Ughhh. And Robert Pattinson's eyebrows are annoying! They are just so thick, and bushy...


I don't know if I want to see the movie and replace all my lovely pictures with Cedric Diggory and others. Ughhh. And Kristen Stewart- ugh- her face is squished, I swear. Ok, I am being really ranty here, so just ignore this answer. ;)
Reply:I think that there doing a fine job at picking cast. As you said, I like who they picked for Bella. As for Edward, I believe that he doesn't look the part, but he can act it. You might recognize him as Cedric off of the Harry potter movie.
