What do the symbols in casting time mean? (like 1-C)





What attribute affects how much healing spells restore? Seth heals for 112 HP while Janssen heals 100, but he has higher magic attack rating

The symbols you refer to are the magic casting times for each spell. The number represents how many turns it will take to cast while the letter represents the priority in which it is cast.





As for healing. Each of the characters heals at a different rate dependig on the rank they have for the appropriate skill. A handy skill can be learned by all imortals in the game which actually increases the amount of healing that items and spells do to a character. It's called Angel Heart, unfortunately without my xbox in front of me I can not remember what item it is learned from. Hope that helps.
Reply:The symbol casting time means the order in which the spell will be cast. Lost Odyssey has a pretty strategic battle system which ranks attacks/items/magic etc. by a certain code by letter. (S is the highest priority, and thus will be cast first if I recall correctly).





Seth is probably has a higher Healing Magic skill (or White Magic skill, I can't remember the name but it's NOT Magic Attack - thats used for offensive spells such as flare.)
