Have you seen Imitation of Life? If not, it's about this black mother with a fair skinned child. The daughter could pass for white and does just that. She didn't claim her mother in her later years because she didn't want anyone to know she was black. The mother tries to reach out to her child, but the daughter keeps shunning her. Eventually the mother dies and the daughter is saying she's sorry, but it's too late. The movie is a real tear jerker.

I was caught between A Walk to Remember and Titanic but I don't consider movies sad when the tragedy could have been avoided. (My theory has always been that if she would have gotten on the boat with the rest of the women, Jack would have had that damn table to float on.)

and The Passion of Christ was sad, but actually soo good and happy, cause Jesus did all of that for us! and He loved us soo much He did that for us and rose again!!! if it wasnt for that, our sins wount be forgiven!
Reply:i'd have to say g) because it really takes the wind out of you. seeing what Jesus went through for us.. reminds me of how unfair it was and how cruel people can be... just sad.. and yet uplifting to think that the creator of all the world loved me enough to let his perfect son be slayed ust so i can be free.
