Was the Iowa Straw poll Rigged?

Hopefully someone out there knows something and can answer me. Apparently during the voting a machine broke and 1500 ballots had to be recounted?! I mean c'mon that is definitly gonna bring up suspicions. My theory is if that they did shift those 1500 votes, they spread them over Brownback, tancredo and Romney took away votes from Ron Paul. I know its a wild guess, but I want the truth, what happened out there? anyone know? ANd why did only about 14,000 people actually cast a vote? Thats less than half the predicted 30,000.

And also, if someone could tell me, I know Ron Paul gave away 800 tickets and got something like 1300 votes. Can someone analyze that for me?

Was the Iowa Straw poll Rigged?
I saw the report on CNN and Ron Paul wasn't mentioned. Surprise, surprise. But there was a lot of applause and cheering during his speech.

Anyway, I wasn't surprised when they said there was a problem with the machines. I think all of the candidates should have used paper too, and hand counted them. The only analysis I can give you is that one report ..... aww I can't remember where I saw that, but it said Mitt Romney won the straw poll as expected. I never wudda guessed!

I'd like to see a breakdown of the (total number) of voters who were there.

paris56, it costs $35 to vote.

It ain't over 'til it's over, though.

When are we going to come to our senses and demand paper ballots again. And monitors to watch the counting.

Oh, guess who was the only one who talked about getting rid of the North American Union/SPP, among other things.
Reply:The idea of votes being taken from Paul and redistributed sounds like a wild conspiracy theory to me, but I am curious as to why there were so few votes compared to people there.
Reply:Apparently the electronic 'diabold'{sp} voting machines malfunctioned. It was not the first time these machines have malfunctioned.

Also, apparently before the votes were cast the Ron Paul supporters went to a judge to have paper ballots cast that could have been easily hand counted. The judge turned them down saying it would cost too much.

Comment:

Heck, me and several million other honest people would have counted the votes for free.....it just goes to show how important 'Fiat' money is to the establishment.

The low 14,000 voter turn out is called 'apathy'! Or people are so disgusted with politics as usual that they don't really want to be a part of the political process.

They simply haven't heard Ron Paul's views yet, give them a little more time, and they will.

Reply:OMG! Straw polls are being rigged now?!
Reply:It cost's $300.00 to vote.
Reply:Guess you had to figure that it wouldn't be long before someone started crying foul. I suppose we can plan on this happening all the way through election day. To think anyone would take votes away from Ron Paul and redistribute them is just stupid. With that, I assume you know what I think of your theory.
Reply:If anything fishy did happen, it will start coming out in the alternative media in a couple of days.

Trust me.

Meantime, I am very pleased with the results!

The media had him at 1 and 2%, but he finish at almost 10%.
Reply:I'm happy with the 9 or 10%, I won't speculate more than that. If anything comes of it, it will probably only help Paul. I'm more interested (and probably you too), as to the exit poll count done for/by Paul supporters.
Reply:For as much money and time Mitt spent in Iowa, he better have won 10%
Reply:Mr. Paul's fish sticks are really bad. What was he thinking?
Reply:LOL

you don't think it could possible be that the idiot who decided to use electronic machines left it to other idiots to try and operate those machines?

you think there is a conspiracy to strip Ron Paul the "Truther wacko" of votes? lol

Sad truther, conspiracies are for kids.

ADD ON: LOL Truthers are so predictable...

lol gimme all the thunmbs down you want, he is still going to lose.

LOL
