Do the Laker's have a good supporting cast around kobe?

i think bynum is going to emerge this season and last year he was a decent starting center. lamar odom is very underrated, rebounds, can handle the ball, can score, can post, can shoot, can pass is a team player. luke walton is a great role player, smart with range on his shot. and now with derek fisher back at point guard and javaris crittenton and jordan farmar for the future, i think their in pretty good shape in the pg position. sasha vujacik is at least ok coming off the bench and can play the role of bringing the ball up and spreading the court with his shot. i think vladamir radmonivic is a perfect fit for them to have as a backup sf b/c he can score and great to put in when kobe comes out. i love their backup big men. i love turiaf, he now has a midrange shot and has passion which is the key aspect to basketball(think about it, ppl with passion almost always end up successful). mim is a good backup center and can start too if bynum gets hurt. kwame brown is a big athel

First, let's assume everyone stays healthy.

Bynum is reportedly improving, we'll see how much by the time the season actually starts. Odom, is a good supporting player again assuming he stays healthy. However, not by any stretch of the imagination a solid second option scorer. Luke Walton does a little bit of everything, a good role player. Fisher, a vet that knows the position.

Overall I think he has a decent supporting cast, but I wouldn't go so far as to call them "good". There are still a lot of assumptions and unknowns, too much of their team is unproven, especially among the 4 and 5 positions. Odom is too injury prone, Bynum is unproven, Brown is a bust, Mihm and Turiaf so far have been serviceable at best. I think they're a decent team, but either need a lot more defense, or more firepower on offense to become good.
Reply:does it really matter? when are they ever gonna get the ball? and if they do they'll be under kobe's thumb if they miss shots. yeah, that's a team i'd like to play for.
Reply:dude, I can tell your a HUGE lakers fan.
Reply:they ok.

lakers get into the playoffs and get swept again.

its all bout Boston this year

and the Portland next year.
Reply:no hell no.
Reply:Overall, no. He only has Lamar, who isn't really consistent, and Fisher, who will probably be good for the Lakers this season. I think Crittenton will emerge in his first year. He seems to be playing well, and he's the only Lakers PG since Fisher who could really drive into the basket. Lakers still lose in the first round though.
