Isn't fornication the sin that is being committed by homosexuals? Isn't that the same as...?

People that are divorced getting re-married? (Obviously there are some reasonable grounds for divorce, but most the time that is not the case...)

Some claim that homosexuality is soooo bad b/c it is an "on-going" sin, but in reality so is getting divorced and re-married.

(Correct me if I am wrong.)

Because you get divorced (God hates it), then you get re-married, and that is fornication. (That you are agreeing to take part in on-going.)

So why not protest against "the divorced getting re-married" like many do against "homosexuality?"

Or is one worse/better than the other?

(I know I have NO place to cast a stone b/c I am not without sin, are you?)

(I recognize that in my beliefs (Christianity) both are sins, but why limelight any sin?)

Isn't fornication the sin that is being committed by homosexuals? Isn't that the same as...?
Both things are just as bad as the other. Fornication also includes having sex before marriage and includes pornea, which is where the word pornography came from.
Reply:Many people here need to do a bible "study" rather than a bible regurgatatipon. A fornicate is the arched entryway to a walled city. Fornicartors were the people who hung out there most trying to get work. Hookers hung out there as well as the Essenes who ran hospices at the fornicates. Jesus was an Essene and so a fornicator.
Reply:if the sin is fornication, then let them get married and they won't have to. Gay people aren't going to change just because Christians call them sinners and discriminate against them. they CANT. If you really want to know if homosexuality is a choice, just go over to the LGBT board and ask them. I can guarantee 100% of them will tell you its not. Which leaves you with two options: let them get married and then if they are sinning(according to Christians, homosexuality is not a sin in my opinion) at least they will be sinning within their marriage, or don't let them get married and have them commit a double sin.
Reply:For most people, the definition of fornication has become having sexual relations outside the bonds of marriage. So if the g/l/b community could get married then there wouldn't be as much of a problem. as for divorcees, as long as the laws of the land permit divorce and remarriage, then they are not committing the sin either.

Perhaps you need a definition of fornication in order to clarify your question.
