Can somebody translate this instruction in simple words? :]?

Okay so I'm having a valentine’s party in less than two weeks and I want to have some games. So I bought a book that has lots of party games and has instructions how to do it. Me and my friend found this one game which we think is fun but we just don’t get how to do it. b/c the instruction says:

Cast a circle by spinning around three times clockwise, and wave your bubble wand as you do. Picture the bubbles collecting and forming a giant bubble around you. Blow the bubbles around yourself while talking to a friend. Open the circle once by walking counterclockwise. Repeat as often as necessary.

So can somebody please translate it using simple words? Especially the “blow the bubbles while talking to a friend”

No mean comments please! Thx

Can somebody translate this instruction in simple words? :]?
The game doesn't seem to make any sense. I think they are telling you that the bubble wand will blow bubbles when you wave it around. What is supposed to happen when you open the circle? I think I would try to find something else that has a reason for it.
Reply:are there like stuff you use with this?

it looks like you make a circle by spinning around to the right 3 times and waving your wand, then talk to a friend while you imagine a giant bubble around you and you can open teh circle by walking left once.

Sounds like a game you play when your high

Isn't fornication the sin that is being committed by homosexuals? Isn't that the same as...?

People that are divorced getting re-married? (Obviously there are some reasonable grounds for divorce, but most the time that is not the case...)

Some claim that homosexuality is soooo bad b/c it is an "on-going" sin, but in reality so is getting divorced and re-married.

(Correct me if I am wrong.)

Because you get divorced (God hates it), then you get re-married, and that is fornication. (That you are agreeing to take part in on-going.)

So why not protest against "the divorced getting re-married" like many do against "homosexuality?"

Or is one worse/better than the other?

(I know I have NO place to cast a stone b/c I am not without sin, are you?)

(I recognize that in my beliefs (Christianity) both are sins, but why limelight any sin?)

Isn't fornication the sin that is being committed by homosexuals? Isn't that the same as...?
Both things are just as bad as the other. Fornication also includes having sex before marriage and includes pornea, which is where the word pornography came from.
Reply:Many people here need to do a bible "study" rather than a bible regurgatatipon. A fornicate is the arched entryway to a walled city. Fornicartors were the people who hung out there most trying to get work. Hookers hung out there as well as the Essenes who ran hospices at the fornicates. Jesus was an Essene and so a fornicator.
Reply:if the sin is fornication, then let them get married and they won't have to. Gay people aren't going to change just because Christians call them sinners and discriminate against them. they CANT. If you really want to know if homosexuality is a choice, just go over to the LGBT board and ask them. I can guarantee 100% of them will tell you its not. Which leaves you with two options: let them get married and then if they are sinning(according to Christians, homosexuality is not a sin in my opinion) at least they will be sinning within their marriage, or don't let them get married and have them commit a double sin.
Reply:For most people, the definition of fornication has become having sexual relations outside the bonds of marriage. So if the g/l/b community could get married then there wouldn't be as much of a problem. as for divorcees, as long as the laws of the land permit divorce and remarriage, then they are not committing the sin either.

Perhaps you need a definition of fornication in order to clarify your question.

During gel electrohporesis, what would happen?

What effect will be observed in the stained band of DNA in an Agarose gel

a. If the casting tray is moved or jarred while agarose is solidifying (will it distort the gel? tear it, break it?)

b. if the gel is run at a very high voltage (the results would come faster but would they be blurry, or inaccurate)

c. if a large air bubble or clump is allowed to set in agarose?

d. if too much DNA is loaded within a lane

During gel electrohporesis, what would happen?
a. yeah, it just depends on how far along the gel is, you'd be able to tell if there was tear or something otherwise it would be ok.

b. at higher voltages, it would make the bands kind of distorted like you said. i think b/c it would heat up the gel and kind of start to melt it.

c. for the bubble, it would prevent the band(s) from traveling through that part and probably make it distorted, depending on how big it is and how much in the way it was.

d. if you load too much DNA, your bands may not be discernable enough for you see them clearly. especially if you ran large pieces on a gel that wasnt at a low enough percentage.

Baptist pastor under scrutiny By ROSE FRENCH, Associated Press Writer

Tue Aug 14, 2:51 PM ET

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070814/ap_o...

The Rev. Jerry Sutton, a prominent Southern Baptist pastor who lost a bid to become president of the denomination, is now facing an upheaval in the megachurch he leads, including complaints that he spent church money on his daughter's wedding.

For nearly 21 years, Sutton has served as leader of Nashville's Two Rivers Baptist Church, which sits just across the highway from the Grand Ole Opry. The church hosted the "Justice Sunday II" rally in 2005, where then-House Majority Leader Tom DeLay and others criticized judicial activism via satellite to a national audience of evangelical Christians.

One of Sutton's former administrative assistants has also said Sutton looked at pornography on his church computer and had an affair with a church staff member — charges that the church denies. The church's executive pastor, Scott Hutchings, said human resource officials at the church investigated those charges and found no evidence that Sutton had looked at porn or had an affair.

About 600 members attended the July 28 meeting, which was organized by the church so that rumors and allegations could be addressed publicly. Sutton also attended, but did not respond to the allegations.

At the meeting, Hutchings relayed the accusations brought against Sutton, including charges that Sutton used church money to pay for his daughter's wedding reception and has kept members in the dark on church spending.

Hutchings defended the church budget and acknowledged that the church paid about $4,300 for a reception for Sutton's daughter that was open to all church members. He said Sutton personally paid for another separate reception outside the church.

Church trustee Frank Harris has been leading the campaign against Sutton. Two Rivers "appears to have been manipulated from a people-led church to a staff-run church," Harris said.

"Anyone who voiced opposition to leadership was alienated and lost any ministries they may have had in the church," Harris said.

A majority of Two Rivers members voted July 8 to exclude Harris from the church because he was causing strife and division. But some members said leaders didn't follow church rules allowing for absentee votes and not all members at the service were able to cast ballots.

"It was a tough decision," Hutchings said. "There has to be submission and authority. It's OK to have disagreements. But Frank started taking his disagreements to and causing division in the (church) body."

A key member of the SBC's conservative leadership, Sutton last year was nominated for president along with Ronnie Floyd of First Baptist Church in Springdale, Ark., and Frank Page of First Baptist Church in Taylors, S.C., but lost to Page.

But Sutton, who recently held the No. 2 spot in the SBC, remains an important figure within the 16.3 million-member denomination, said David Key, director of Baptist Studies at Emory University's Candler School of Theology in Atlanta.

Two Rivers is the home church for many Southern Baptist bureaucrats, and Sutton is the "pastor to the people who do the day-to-day decision-making of the Southern Baptist Convention," Key said.

Nashville is home to the SBC's executive committee; LifeWay Christian Resources, which publishes Bibles, books and music for the SBC; and the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission, the public policy arm of the denomination.

Key said lay people in many Southern Baptist churches are starting to push back against the authority of pastors, who have gained more power since a conservative takeover of SBC leadership in the late 1970s.

"When there's a high level of trust in the leadership, there's less questioning," said Phill Martin, deputy CEO of the National Association of Church Business Administration. "When trust begins to be broken, and you begin to wonder what's going on with leadership, a lot of times what will surface first is a questioning of financial responsibility. So many times money becomes the lightning rod for the trust issue."

What happened to Virtuecrat morality? Did the almighty $$$ win out?
I suppose that Republicans, with their emphasis on judging a candidate by his character and not by his positions, are more predisposed to buy into the concept of virtuecrat rule than are Democrats or independents.

But there hasn't been much talk about "virtuecrats" by anyone lately. The unmasking of hypocrites such as the one you describe, may have put a damper on the idea.

i just saw the trailer and wanted to see it but this info would be helpful

What is the plot of the new movie with Jaime Foxx, Jennifer Garner, and Jason Bateman?
Jaime Foxx, Jennifer Garner, Jason Bateman and Chris Cooper play an elite FBI team who go to Saudi Arabia to investigate a terrorist attack on a American compound that is occupied by oil company execs and their families. It is rated "R" for strong language and violence. I actually went to see this movie today and it is very good. I would give it a "B" and that is due to the hand held camera that is used during a lot of the action scenes. I was getting a little motion sick during some of those scenes and had to look away a few times.
Reply:Most of that is correct, it's in Saudi Arabia Rated R. Here just look at this site http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0431197/

What worries you most about trying to get accepted at a well-known, respected college / university?
E. Other

I already applied to and attended college, so I may not be your target audience, but my main concern was different from those you have listed.

I had so many people who believed in me throughout high school and who thought I could do just about anything - teachers, parents, friends, you name it. I was terrified of applying to top schools and then getting rejected by some or all of them, and having to face these people. I wanted to live up to everyone's expectations, even though I knew I wasn't everything they believed me to be.

In the end, it all worked out, but that was honestly the most worrisome part of the whole process for me.
Reply:not going to a state college. univiersities and private universities are better. going to community college is ok, but im going to make sure i go to a university and not a state school.

another worry is getting a degree in something im going to need for my job. it would be a waste of time to get a degree in pychology, then work in a human resource, or be a private banker. then youd have to go back and get a finance degree or a human resource degree
Reply:C, most definitely. It was the sole influence in my choice for a college.

Money talks. College is a business. Bitches.

Why does my arm still hurt?

I went to the doctor and had x-rays done on my wrist and thumb b/c it was causing me pain. They diagnosed me with tendinitis and put my hand in a splint. I can't move my hand yet it still causes great pain. they didnt give me anything for pain they just told me to take aleve or something. Why does my hand still hurt when I am not even moving it? Also, is there a possibility my arm could be put in a cast if the splint doesnt work?

Why does my arm still hurt?
Tendonitis takes time to heal. The splint may prevent you from injuring it further, but it won't make all of the pain go away. Have you tried Aleve or Advil?

Q = m1c1/\T + m2c2/\T

m1*4186*27 + 295*450*27 = 4.8*10^6

113022*m1 + 3584250 = 4.8*10^6

Water to steam at 100 degrees:

Q = 44*2.26*10^6 = 99,440,000 J

Steam from 100 to 117 degrees:

Q = 44*2010*17 = 1,503,480 J

I will leave you to add them all up!

4,800kJ - 3,584kJ = 1,216kJ.

Mass of water = 1,216kJ / 0.112kJ = 10.9kg.

Water at 100°C to Steam at 100°C (Lv).

Steam at 100°C to 117°C (Sensible Heat).

= 44 x 2.010J/g x 17°C. = 1,503J.

Total heat required.

Remote controls for everything, gadgets that make life easier to satallites that spy on everyone. Robots on Mars to inventions that were dreams 30 years ago. Diseases that have been eradicated to stem cell research that will herald a Genetic age. Old age a thing of the past, Wars fought from desks to votes cast from a P.C.

Scientific fact and technology Will overtake science fiction and Religion. Agree?.?
It doesn't sound that far fetched really, I mean 30 years ago who would have thought that the internet, mobile phones would be about? Computers are being programmed to do more and more and discover more, it's when they start to combine gentics with technology and start doing things like inserting stuff that activates area of your brain like a language programme so you can speak fluent French or somethin that we need to be worried or if they give computers a sense of awareness and independence to much, who knows, and would anybody stop them / be able to stop them if they did?

Reply:this is a lot of wishful thinking. .

even as our technology gets more advanced, it's VERY obvious from just looking at the news that, as a society, we are going backwards fast. .

It's foolish to supposed that more and better technology will ever result in a better society or world, without addressing the heart of man (wicked and sinful and foolish)
Reply:Yes and no. Scientific fact and technology will only affect what we currently believe, but there are some things that can't be disproven; for instance, no one can prove that there is or isn't a God. You either believe or don't believe it, but it can never be confrimed.

Also, with the new discoveries in technology, our old Star Wars or Star Trek movies may turn into just fantasy, but it also open the door to new ideas.

What we currently take as sci-fi may be proven or disproven, but we'll just take what we currently know and come up with new sci-fi.

e) the earth moves between the sun and the moon.

During a solar eclipse?
a.

In a solar eclipse, the moon's shadow is cast on the Earth. Since the Moon as rather smaller than the Earth, it's shadow only falls on a small area of the Earth, so if you witness a solar eclipse, you are very lucky.

b) describes a Lunar Eclipse. Since the Earth is bigger than the moon, the shadow can fall over the entire visible surface of the moon. When it happens, the eclipse is visible from the entire night half of the earth, so this form of eclipse is seen more often.

Equivalent ratios and proportions?

Can someone please help me with the steps in doing these questions below please?

In Canadian federal elections, 3 out of 4 voters usually cast their votes. In a riding with 60,000 voters,

a) how many people are expected to vote?

b) how many people are not expected to vote?

c) what is the expected ratio of voters who cast their votes to voters who do not cast their votes to total number of voters?

Equivalent ratios and proportions?
1.using proportion:

3:4=x:60,000

multiply the means and the extremes:

4x=180,000

divide both sides by 4:

4x/4=180,000/4

that will yield to:

x=45,000 or out of 60,000 canadian voters 45,000 will cast their votes.

2. just do no. 1 but now the ratio will be 3:1=45,000:x

multiply the means and the extremes:

3x=45,000

divide both sides with 3:

3x/3=45,000/3

that will yield to:

x=15,000 or out of the 60,000 canadian voters,15,000 canadians will NOT casts their votes.

3.3:1:4 or 45,000:15,000:60,000

checking:

45,000+15,000=60,000

60,000=60,000
Reply:a) 3/4 * 60,000 = 45000

b) Total voters - Voters = 60000 - 45000 = 15000

c) 3/4 : 1/4 : 1

= 3/4 : 1/4 : 4/4

(cancelling away the denominators)

= 3 : 1 : 4
Reply:a) 45,000 (3/4 of 60,000 is 45,000)

b) 15,000 (1/4 of 60,000 is 15,000)

c) 3:1:4 or 45,000: 15,000: 60,000 (whose votes were casted: not casted: total number of voters)

Regarding use of the media, spin can best be defined as?
D. casting a positive light on negative facts.

It's what Fox News does everyday to benefit the Republican Party.
Reply:It could be summed up with "If you can't dazzle them with brilliance....................." you know the rest.
Reply:Its called lying.
Reply:None of the above:

Spin is about not reporting facts.

It's about not being an observer but being a participant and affecting out-comes rather than reporting on them.

It's about cherry picking information in order to appeal to a target audience and pander to their sensibilities thereby bolstering their prejudices.

It's criminal misrepresentation to achieve a goal.

A-I!

Part 2:

A-M!

Ah... silly fundies and their stupid beliefs.
Reply:That is the Law
Reply:Meg, are you F***ING KIDDING ME, you don't know where the Bible - one of the most bloodsoaked books ever - says you should put anyone to death???? Have you ever read it?!?!?!?!???

It is very rare human stupidity amazes me anymore, but THAT DID IT!

OK to the question, I missed where answer I question one comes from or was that a joke. No nipples? Really?
Reply:Most scholars agree that the first verses you quoted were added to the bible at a later date. They are spurious at best. Some translations refuse to add them at all. The others, some are true and some not. If you are truly looking for which are true and which are not, then state those only. Thanks
Reply:1) none of the above, these can be faked, love for eachother is the genuine mark of a christian and every increasing holiness with denial of short term self interest toward increased long term enjoyment is the right answer

2) none of the above for today, Jesus NOW commands the redeemed to raeach out to the lost, offering amnesty and new life and change to turn from enemies of God to children of God. what will kill you is listening to the snake on the street and in the end the second death where there will be o more chances to repent and believe

Reply:I agree 100% with you. Christians are crazy and fanatical
Reply:eek i better prepare for my imminent death then
Reply:I feel so sorry for you.
Reply:Only F in the first section. All others, if they do not accept F.
Reply:These are all questions you can answer on your own if you read the Bible.

A lot can be determined by context. For instance, do you live in a theocracy would be a good question to answer first. Another question to answer first is: am I one of the original apostles of Jesus who were given power to give validity to their new message?
Reply:F on the first one......the second one I would guess is J? But I don't recall where in the Bible it says anyone should be put to death...

Name the phase change (I already named it, but need confirmation)?

(a) A diamond film forms on a surface from gaseous carbon atoms in a vacuum.

Deposition

(b) Mothballs in a bureau drawer disappear over time.

Sublimation

(c) Molten Iron from a blast furnace is cast into ingots (“pigs”).

Fusion

Am I correct?

Name the phase change (I already named it, but need confirmation)?
a.) I don't think the situtation is reasonable, but it is deposition, the transition from gas into solid.

b.) It is sublimation, the transition from solid to gas.

c.) It's only solidification or freezing... as it's a transtion from liquid to a solid.
Reply:the first guy to answer is correct. fusion is not a change of phase, it has more to do with the individual atoms.
Reply:a) deposition is not a phase change ........ its name is opp. of sublimation i.e condensation or soldification

b) sublimation

c)solidification

Since it is confirmed Bush lied and broke laws, can we please incarcerate this criminal president?

Why is he still in charge? He has no right to be in charge, he violated us as americans, he has set our nation in danger and lost our face in the world, he tramples the free and brave, he is an absolute hypocrite that marks others as evil and claims to be good, he is bad, away with him I say. Write the elected and let them know your an advocate of Beast and I will declare to them I am an advocate to cast out congress and senate as well.

We ought to revoke these peoples powers with a well armed and organized protested presented revolt marching to D.C. and taking the leadership away from that evil gang there.

Since it is confirmed Bush lied and broke laws, can we please incarcerate this criminal president?
are you suggesting they need to diet because of this.....wrong section babe. all goverment bodies lie show me an honest politician an I'll give you a million dollars
Reply:I would love to have the president took out of office because i think what he is doing is wrong
Reply:Eat only when hungy and that too not more than three times a day. Include fruits and uncooked vegetables in ur diet. Take no liquid or solid food in between other than water. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will create a system of messaging by which u will know when u r hungry or when full.

Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.

U will get all the motivation to stick to this pattern within a short period and u will achieve what u have always considered to be ur goal.
Reply:Which laws has he specifically broken and when was this confirmed?

Besides, he is out. He cannot run again and he will be gone after the next election. The system works.

Reply:How about this? Re-direct your anger by campaigning for a Presidential candidate for 2008 who you think is suitable.
Reply:Bush is a heartless whatever you call him just like the rest of those repuplicans that support him in all his decisions. I think he'll get his punishment at judgement day. As long as he lives he can get out of any situation because he's Bush. You see his innocent twins got off real easy with the under age drinking or was it a dui charge but whatever. Rules don't apply to the Bush's some how. I think he should. I agree with you.
Reply:just think the other side was killed.
Reply:hey. cool it, dude. He'll be out of office soon.
Reply:Is this the Whine %26amp; BUSH Diet ???
Reply:He has done many unlawful things, oh yes. He even tried to make phone companies immune for prosecution in exchange for setting up illegal wire taps. He's a very bad leader, and has bought very bad things upon the modern world.

But should we batter down the walls of the white house and shoot him? Nope. He's going to be out of office soon, anyway. And if he really goes too far, write a letter to your congressman.
Reply:First, It's not confirmed that Bush lied. When did he lie? About WMD'S? He didn't lie. It's not even confirmed. If he DID lie, then Kerry lied, Al Gore lied, Kennedy lied, Lieberman lied, Harry Reid lied. We had reason to believe that Saddam was a threat. If he didn't have WMD'S, he would have had nothing to hide. So, why did he kick out UN inspecters? That was reason enough.

Next, Bush hasn't broken any laws. First of all, his so-called "domestic spying" wasn't domestic at all. He wasn't listening in on every person's conversations in America, he was only listening in on phone conversations that suspected terrorists had with people. This action is similar to the way police tap suspected drug dealers phones, or camp outside suspected hideouts. Bush's program was perfectly legal. There was no infringement of our privacy. The ones telling you that are trying to villify Bush because they hate him for beating Gore and Kerry.

Next, you claim that Bush is above the law. Well, what politician isn't? How many times has Ted Kennedy been drunk behind the wheel? He even killed a young woman. And yet, he got off easily, didn't he? All politicians get away with things. They don't have to pay as much taxes, and can even opt out of social security. So, before you say that the Bushes have exclusive rights, take a look around at everyone else at Capitol Hill.

You see? You have no evidence supporting your claims. All you do is attack him ad hominum. You don't have substantial claim, you just call him names. Personally, I don't like Bush either. I think he put America in danger by attempting to give illegal aliens amnesty, I think he's a big spender, and I think he's not pushing for enough tax breaks. I also think that, although we should have taken Saddam, we shouldn't hve wasted time, money, and manpower in a futile attempt to "spread democracy" to a region that, when we finally leave, will erupt in civil war and fall into the hands of another dictator. So, personally, I'll be glad when he's out of office too.

But he's not a criminal.

Why cancel stargate sg1.why doesn't sci-fi channel sell their contract so another network can air stargate sg1

first is why cancel stargate sg1.why doesn't sci fi sell their contract to another netowrk to air stargate.what will happen next.and what will happen to vala daniel mitchell sam and teal'c and the real cast.and what happens to daniels and vala's relationship now.damn sci fi ruined everything i hate u sci fi.why in hell would they cancel a show that has good ratings.stargate sg1 has alot of fans and sci fi knows that and even if they can't afford the show.why can't they just sell their contract to another network so some other channel can air new episodes do they have to ruin it for every fans of the show.

Why cancel stargate sg1.why doesn't sci-fi channel sell their contract so another network can air stargate sg1
the series is cancelled they start showing the last ten episodes next month. their also doing two direct to dvd movies one of wich will have o'neill.

no one knows why sci fi did what they did. sci fi hasn't really given a good reason.
Reply:I know! I hate how they just cancel it! WHY! The least they could of done is finish the story, or at least make it they lived semi happily ever after. Sci-fi angers me ever so...and saddens...also ever so Report It

Reply:I guess after 10 years the cast wants a break... a change maybe. It will continue through Stargate Atlantis. Report It

Reply:We all gotta move on...sad to say. But with the 3rd series who knows. MGM the orginal production company whom presented us with the Movie, maybe they'll enter the small-screen business and start running the Stargate series. It'd be cool if they did. Come see me at LadyIce969 at myspace. Report It

Reply:MShanks was 26 when he started with stargate, he's 36 Now and he's on 24, csi miami and has movies under his belt. He wanted to move on and do other things, as much as we hat to think about it actors have a shelf life before we as fans get bored with them Report It

Reply:Tapping had a baby, Mshanks and Cjudd have a business together, our beloved leader RDA's wife left and took the kid so he wanted to be with her so he had to return to the states it's sad but they've all had to move on Report It

Reply:I think you are misinformed or I don't understand your question fully.

1 SG-1 is not canceled yet it's Final season starts next month. The writers, producers, actors almost all are ready to move on to something else. This has been a wonderful, exciting but long run project. Most of these people(actors) do not want to be stuck as a Teal'C or Daniel their whole acting life, part of the fun of being an actor is the changes.

I will miss them terribly. Just as I have other great shows/series that have stopped.

A 6-ft fence casts a shadow of 10 ft. At the same time a tree casts a shadow of 22 ft. How tall is the tree?

a) 2.7 ft

b)8.8 ft

c)13.2 ft

d)132 ft

A 6-ft fence casts a shadow of 10 ft. At the same time a tree casts a shadow of 22 ft. How tall is the tree?
6/10 = x/22

6 = x

---- ----

10 22

132 = 10x

x = 13.2

c) 13.2ft
Reply:D. 13.2
Reply:Proportions: the shadow is a little more that twice as long so the tree must be a little more that twice as tall.
Reply:its C; 22 divided by 10 is 2.2 and 2.2 times 6 is 13.2
Reply:duh the answer is c
Reply:13.2 feet. The 6 foot fence is 3/5 of its shadow, so logically the tree's height would be 3/5 of its shadow.

Should Republican Senator David Vitter be subject to the same treatment Clinton received?

Republican Conservatives screamed holy hell when it was leaked that President Clinton had an affair... which incidentally is not against the law or his oath of office. Now that Republican Senator David Vitter has ADMITTED to frequenting a D.C. area Madam... which incidentally IS against the law... should Democrats scream and call for his resignation?

Why is it totally unacceptable for one man to have a moment of marital infidelity but perfectly acceptable for another to visit is house of prostitution because he's "made peace with his wife"? Isn't this just the sort of double-standard conservatives thrive on?

Giuliani, Gingrich, Foley and now Vitter. All involved one way or another in a sexual scandal yet you people say nothing. But the moment Clinton drops trow you all line up, stones in hand, ready to cast him out from society.

Hypocrites... all of you!

Should Republican Senator David Vitter be subject to the same treatment Clinton received?
No, that's between him and his wife and the people that elected him, the same way it was for Clinton in the end, after the GOP made fools of themselves over the impeachment
Reply:Oh, the gall of being chastened by the ignorant.

The big deal about Clinton wasn't that he was an adulterer, but that he lied under oath in order to obstruct justice during the civil trial for his sexual harassment of Paula Jones.

The Chief Law Enforcement Officer of the nation isn't supposed to be lying under oath.

Your ignorance doesn't make me a hypocrite. But thanks for playing "I almost had a clue".
Reply:If you want to really lose your shite, google GOP pedophiles. The list is staggering. Where is the media?

Butterbar, how is the criminality of the Bush admin so lost on you? I'm baffled!
Reply:hell yeah , wow u really keep with things political,

someones gotta keep an ey e on those righty's

good job.
Reply:The Republicans wanted to get rid of Clinton from the very beginning. They couldn't nail him on Whitewater, so they saw the revelations about the extramarital hummer as their golden opportunity. At least Clinton didn't have to pay for the hummer!LOL
Reply:I didn't read the rest of your question but I'll answer the part in bold.

I don't think Vitter used his position to elevate his squeeze in her employment...and surely didn't do it with taxpayer money.

Nothing wrong with getting squeezes...just don't make me pay for (yours)
Reply:Well put and yes he should get the treatment every john gets.
Reply:Yes, but Republicans disagree.

Hypocrites.EXACTLY.
Reply:You forgot to mention Trent Lott who did that stuff earlier in his life. It seems the hypocracy just keeps coming from the GOP. Daily it flows like water in a mighty river. Who and what is next?
Reply:They are celebrating.

First republican sex scandle that didn't involve little boys
Reply:There's 1 huge difference.... Clinton was the President of the U.S.A. and these guys weren't....

3 d casts are images of an object solidified in rock or any other substance.
Reply:1. The process whereby remains of organisms are turned into fossil fuels is called

a. carbonization

--Carbonization/Carbonisation is the term for the conversion of an organic substance into carbon or a carbon-containing residue through pyrolysis. It is often used in organic chemistry

Why is it some skateboards are flat and others aren't? and what's best?

I have a C.A.S 30 series skateboard.

specs

deck - 31" x 8" hardwood laminate

truck - 5" indy aluminum

wheel - 52 x 36mm cast polyurethene

bearing - ABEC-5

Graphic silkscreen

what do these all mean??

Why is it some skateboards are flat and others aren't? and what's best?
The reason skateboards are flatter than others is because the concave is different.

The concave is the dip in the board that helps you balance while riding, and help you have more control while doing tricks.

The 31 x 8 means that the board is 31 inches long and 8 inches wide. and ists made of hardwood laminate

The 5" trucks means that the truck is 5 inches wide. and its made of indy aluminum.

The wheels have a radius of 36 mm and 52 mm wide. and are made from polyurethane

ABEC 5 is just the type of bearings

And the graphic was applied to the boaord through silkscreen printing
Reply:you should know you typed it
Reply:"Flat ones" came out in the1980's

Henry is 5 ft tall and casts a shadow that is 15 ft long. A tree next to Henry casts 324-ft long shadow. How tall is the tree?

A.18 ft

B. 972 ft

C. 108 ft

D. 1620 ft

Can someone please help me solve this word problem?
ok the answer is 108 ft but here's how you do this

first you set up Henry's heigth and shadow heigth in a fraction: 5/15

then you set up the tree's heigth (X) and shadwo heigth in a fraction as well: X/324

then you set up the 2 frations into a ratio: 5/15 = X/324

after that, you cross multiply (5 x 324 and X x 15)

next you take the 15x and divide the 15 outta it to just get X and you divide the product of 5 x 324 by 15 to get the final number. hope this helps!
Reply:This is just similar triangles.

so:

5/15 = x/324

You should be able to solve this now.
Reply:c.... 108 ft tall.....
Reply:C - 108FT.
Reply:All you have to do is draw it out and it's 2 triangles. So you compare 5:15 and then x:324 which should look like this

5/15 = x/324 So you cross multiply 5x324=15x

So you multiply 5 and 324 and get 1620=15x

Then solve for x by dividing each side by 15 108=x

Your answer is then c.

Realistically speaking, how much could a feature length film be made for?

If, you A) acquired an unpaid cast of absolute unknowns that had performing arts degrees, B) shot the majority of the scenes outdoors in unhabited locations i.e. forests, C) filmed the whole thing on 16mm film and D) didn't bother with any marketing or PR. Basically what I'm asking is, how much would it cost to make a film that is stripped of all the elements that boost budgets i.e. advertising and crew/cast fees.

Realistically speaking, how much could a feature length film be made for?
About $28,000.

That's how much Kevin Smith claims he spent for Clerks.

Games for wii?

i have ps3 but i have my left hand in a cast for a few weeks. I traded my friend the ps3 for his wii for a week or two. I need some games to rent though. i can play the wii sports but not the boxing part b/c of my cast. does anyone know any good games that i can play without the numchulk.

Games for wii?
if you look on the back of most game boxes, it will tell you if you need the nunchuk or not, by showing the wiimote either with or without it. resident evil umbrella chronicles just came out the other day, and the nunchuk is not necessary to play it (its a shooter game, set up like house of the dead) ive had a lot of fun playing that.
Reply:first of all, i'd like to say sorry about your arm, i hope it gets better...

As for your problem, there are many games for wii that just use the controller. If you go to IGN.com, you can look up the games and try to figure it out that way. You can also go to gamestop.com and look up the game- in the "short description" section of the page, there is usually an image of the back of the box and on the upper right corner of the box it shows you if the game requires the nunchuk or not.

Hope I helped...

What is wrong with the following Java code? (Emphasis on Polymorphism)?

Given the following classes and their objects:

class Class1 {}

class Class2 extends Class 1{}

class Class3 extends Class 1{}

Class2 c2 = new Class2();

Class3 c3 = new Class3();

Analyze the follow Statement:

c2 = (Class2) ( (Class1) c3 );

A) Classes cannot be cast.

B) The casting will compile and run successfully.

C) A runtime error will occur b/c you cannot cast objects from sibling classes.

D)A runtime error will occur b/c both parent class and child class cannot be in the same statement.

E) None of the above.

This is problem I must figure out in my Computing class. I'm trying to look in the book for the answer but it's not that simple.

What is wrong with the following Java code? (Emphasis on Polymorphism)?
Something I find useful is to assign real-life objects to the classes. So let's say Class1 is a class Vehicle(), with classes 2 and 3 being Car() and Truck() respectively. So we make a Car() and Truck() and store them in c2 and c3. Assuming that classes can be cast (since some previous posts already told you this), you can think about this in a more real world sense. "(Class1) c3" casts c3 as an instance of Class1. In other words, it casts a Truck() as a Vehicle(), which should make sense in real life. Then it tries to cast what we have, a Vehicle(), as a Car() and then stores it in a variable of type Car(). Without giving the answer, try to take this and see if the rest will work. Will it compile? Will it run? Hope this helped at all...
Reply:There is a *reason* it's not that simple: because you're supposed to figure it out for yourself. That's probably the biggest part of computer programing: figuring out how to solve problems on your own.

With that said, try to eliminate some of the answers that you know can't be. I'll start you off: (A) is dead wrong.
Reply:It's not A.

What is the difference between the line mention below:-?

(It is in the c program.In linked list.)

struct node

int data;

struct node *link;

/*when we allocate the memorary for the new node */

void append(struct node **q,int data)

{

struct *temp;

temp = malloc(sizeof(struct node); /* 1 */

/* AND */

temp = (struct node *) malloc( sizeof (struct node) ); /* 2 */

}

/* tell the difference between different code for allocation

in line 1 we dont mention the cast type

%26amp;

in line second we mention the cast type.

*/

What is the difference between the line mention below:-?
For all intents and purposes there is no difference between the two. Since malloc returns a void *, casting (example 2) is purely optional. The only real difference only comes into play if you forget to include stdlib (example 1 will generate an error because the compiler defaults to functions returning int's if a formal declaration is not found, example 2 might slip through the cracks since you're doing an explicit cast).
Reply:Both works fine. But, the second is considered as 'Good programming practice'.

plz may you explain more , or put another question

Wii Play is another good game for the Wii that only requires one hand. You should definately hire that game out. You can play FIFA 08, you just need to turn the Wiimote on its side and use it as a controller, that shouldn't hurt your arm too much. I haven't played Mario Charged Strikers yet, but I don't think you use the Nunchuck. I think you turn the Wiimote sideways again. Hope i helped, good luck!
Reply:try the warrio game it has a bunch of mini games that are fun and you dont need the numchuk. or mario party.

If you answered "d" for all of the above questions ......... congratulations !!! you are correct !

If we consider racial profiling when looking at our over-all safety and security, we should also examine the profile of those who have been so effective in committing corruption and genocide in the past century. When we objectively analyze the most notorious and effective killing machines of the 20th century, we will truly understand where the real threat lies.

Is "Profiling" a fair way to check people?
This is a very interesting post with a lot of historical detail. It has certainly made me think more about the issue of racial profiling.

Thanks!

(I'm going to save this post on my watchlist and read it more closely.)
Reply:Oh, you poor dear. You desperately need to have your brain washed of all that dirt. Profiling is necessary. If it walks like a duck, looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it PROBABLY IS A DUCK. A little kid can tell you that. Hello?
Reply:But liberals do not want to make anyone uncomfortable or hurt their feelings. Is that not more important than stopping terrorism?
Reply:Well, you know, the terrorists who seek to harm us only look one way: like Middle Easterners. Sorry, but we need a description of ACTUAL criminals in order to catch them.

And if you are that easily "profiled" maybe you should move to a peace loving country, say, like Mexico, and find your freedom and fortune there instead. :)
Reply:It's not only unfair, it's unconstitutional. The U.S. Constitution guarantees the "equal protection of the laws," and the free exercise of religion. The 1st amendment and 14th amendment prohibit us from engaging in discrimination against anyone because of their religion or their race. That means that no one is any more suspicious than anyone else just because of their religion or race.
