How do I stop O.C. social service's from using untruths to keep me and my kids apart?

This is a complicated legal question at which I am at my ropes end. After accomplishing everything we were asked and acquiring a court order for the soc. worker to do a house inspection for overnight visits. She does this after changing the appt.various times. She shows up, does a walk through. There are no defaults for her to use for denying overnites. She then asks about pornor in the home, and mentions a concern of porno being in view of the children and somebody wanted to speak to us in regards to this. I told her I was at a loss ,and what concerns, she starts to talk to me, her phone rings, she answers the call and a E.R. cast soc. wrk. appears asks to speak to us seperately. Asks about porno in our home. Respoonse was very little, asked if criminal charges were being made, answered NO. Both refused to speak .Then told they were filing general neglect charges and overnights would be denied do to the new report being filed.This all took place after court order for approval

You did not mention why they were involved in the first place. Did it have anything to do with something sexual in nature? Like a report of sexual abuse or inappropriateness? Porno in the house is never a good thing when family services comes to the home. All I can recommend is that you speak with your case worker , ask what further steps you need to do to get your child back and follow it EXACTLY. The rules are not flexible. If you do not follow what is told; yes they can always go back to court and get an order overturned that was once approved. Speak to the worker and hire a good family court lawyer if you need further assistance. I wish you the best.
Reply:You are in a sticky situation. i have dealt with children services and trust me when i say, they do exactly whatever they have to do, they took my child 3 yrs ago, i got him back 6 months later. i don't know what exactly your situation is, but the children services are a hard core bunch. i had to do exactly what they said and when they said it i had to jump, pretty much the one thing you can do, is ask questions and then ask more questions, if you do not understand what they are doing and why they are doing this and that you have to ask them until you get the answer you are looking for, all i can say is that if you keep asking them they will explain that's what i did, and i have my child back. just do what they say and have patience, these kind of things take time, and only you can do what it takes to get your child/children back, its a long process, in which the dcs takes there time, and checks everything out thoroughly. their job is to make sure that the children are safe and that they are now safe and secure. i wish you the best of luck..
